As a result of state pressure to keep water levels high, the dam \u201cdid not have an adequate spillway capacity and collapsed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDemocrat Dana Nessel clearly has her priorities mixed up. As the top law enforcement officer in the state, an attorney general has a duty to protect its citizens,\u201d said RAGA Chairman Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry said in a statement. \u201cNewsflash: a personal environmental protection crusade does\u00a0not trump the safety of the people within your state. Unfortunately, the Democrat\u00a0prioritized\u00a0a handful\u00a0of small crustaceans over the well-being of thousands of Michiganders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>RAGA also accused Nessel of attempting to cover her \u201ccareless actions\u201d by tweeting about Trump and his \u201clegal and moral responsibility\u201d to wear a face mask while touring a Ford manufacturing plant.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Trump refused to wear a face mask during his tour of the Ford plant in Ypsilanti today, despite numerous requests that he do so. Trump does not care about the safety of Michiganders.
