‘So-called conservative leaders joined the left’s chorus’<\/h3>\n
By Mary Margaret Olohan<\/strong> Fox News\u2019 Tucker Carlson ripped into President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and former ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley for their reactions to the violent riots throughout the United States.<\/p>\n The \u201cTucker Carlson Tonight\u201d host warned that the United States of America is experiencing a profound national emergency \u2014 \u201cbut you would never\u00a0know that<\/span>\u00a0from listening to the elected<\/span>\u00a0leaders,\u201d he added, before citing examples of Pence, Haley, and Trump\u2019s reactions to the riots.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAlmost all of them pretend this is not really happening, or if it is happening, it\u2019s just part of America\u2019s long tradition of vigorous political discourse,\u201d Carlson said. \u201cPoliticians on both sides tell us this is all about the death of a man in police in Minneapolis custody last week. The people burning down our country are protesters and they\u2019re engaged in a legitimate protest.\u201d<\/p>\n Carlson suggested that if someone asked these protestors what their demands are or what they are asking for, these protestors would not have answers \u201cbecause there is not an answer.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOn Friday some American cities<\/span>\u00a0were being destroyed by mobs and<\/span>\u00a0the vice president of the<\/span>\u00a0United States refused to say<\/span>\u00a0anything specific on the riots<\/span>\u00a0we were watching on television<\/span>,\u201d Carlson said. \u201cInstead, Mike Pence scolded<\/span>\u00a0America for its racism.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The Tucker Carlson Tonight Host also criticized Haley for her comment that George Floyd\u2019s death needs to be\u00a0\u201c<\/span>personal and painful for<\/span>\u00a0everyone.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWhat Nikki Haley does best is moral blackmail,\u201d Carlson said. \u201cDuring the 2016 campaign she<\/span>\u00a0compared Donald Trump to the<\/span>\u00a0racist mass murder Dylan Roof.<\/span>\u00a0How is Donald Trump similar to a<\/span>\u00a0serial killer?<\/span>\u00a0Nikki Haley never explained that, she wasn\u2019t\u00a0<\/span>trying to educate<\/span>\u00a0anyone. Her only goal was<\/span>\u00a0political advantage.\u00a0<\/span>Nikki Haley is exceptionally<\/span>\u00a0good and getting what she wants<\/span>,\u00a0she\u2019s happy to denounce you<\/span>\u00a0as a racist in order to get it.<\/span>\u00a0She just did.<\/span>\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIn this case, Nikki Haley\u2019s wish<\/span>\u00a0came true. The riots were<\/span>\u00a0indeed \u201cpersonal and painful for<\/span>\u00a0everyone.\u201d And then t<\/span>he pain kept increasing and two<\/span>\u00a0days after she wrote that dozens<\/span>\u00a0of American cities have been<\/span>\u00a0thoroughly trashed and some<\/span>\u00a0destroyed,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Carlson also criticized Trump\u2019s response to the riots, noting that after riots raged outside the White House and a Fox New reporter was forced to flee, the president tweeted to assure the nation that he and his family were safe.<\/p>\n
