A report from WDBJ7 shows that more than 90 Second Amendment sanctuary declarations have been made by counties and municipalities in Virginia.<\/p>\n

WDBJ7\u00a0reports<\/a>\u00a0that Rockingham County was one of the most recent sanctuary declarations. Breitbart News\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0that over 3,000 residents attended the Rockingham Board of Supervisors meeting to demand Second Amendment sanctuary status.<\/p>\n

WMRA\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0that Rockingham\u2019s Board of Supervisors meeting was held at the\u00a0Spotswood High School\u2019s gymnasium and \u201cit was standing room only.\u201d County Supervisor Pablo Cuevas announced the voting results to the crowd, saying, \u201cThe Board of Supervisors hereby expresses its continued intent to uphold, support, and defend all rights, protections, and guarantees by the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the Constitution of the United States of America.\u201d<\/p>\n

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D)\u00a0says<\/a>\u00a0counties will face \u201cconsequences\u201d if they refuse to enforce gun control. Rep. Donald McEachin (D-VA)\u00a0suggests<\/a>\u00a0Northam could use the National Guard to compel compliance with new state gun laws.<\/p>\n
