Threatens to DEFUND FBI, DOJ for election interference<\/h3>\n

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan threatened Sunday to defund any government agencies that engage in election interference, charging that both the FBI and the DOJ have done exactly that in their constant attempts to go after President Trump.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Appearing on Fox News, Jordan stated \u201cThe key is to get the facts on the table. We\u2019re doing that with all kinds of issues where we think agencies have been turned against the very American people they\u2019re supposed to serve.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo you get the facts on the table, and then you look at legislation,\u201d Jordan continued, adding \u201cOur job is we\u2019re legislators. Our job is to pass legislation, write laws and pass legislation. So we\u2019ll look at that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe control the power of the purse, and that\u2019s \u2014 we\u2019re going to have to look at the appropriations process and limit funds going to some of these agencies, particularly the ones engaged in the most egregious behavior,\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Jordan asserted.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo the DOJ and the FBI?\u201d host Maria Bartiromo interjected.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah. And what I\u2019d really like, frankly, I\u2019d really like for the government just to stay out of the election process,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Jordan responded, going on to document how those agencies have targeted Trump.<\/p>\n

\u201c2016, they spied on his campaign. 2018, the Mueller investigation. 2020 they suppressed the hunter Biden story. 2022, they raid his home 91 days before an election, and now 2024 election, the leading candidate for the presidential nomination, they indict the former president and top candidate who\u2019s leading in every poll,\u201d the Congressman pointed out.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust let \u2018We, The People\u2019 decide who we want to elect and stay out of the election process, for goodness sake,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Jordan urged.<\/p>\n

Jordan emphasised that this is bigger than Trump, noting \u201cThis involves all of us. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s an accident that the same week we learned that the IRS knocked on Matt Taibbi\u2019s door while he\u2019s testifying in Congress. That same week is when we learned a\u00a0district attorney, a left-wing district attorney, a Soros-backed district attorney is going to go after the former President of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jordan continued, \u201cI mean, that is a scary thing, that they paid a foreigner. Think about this. They paid a foreigner to put together a fake dossier to spy on President Trump\u2019s campaign. The FTC sends letters to Twitter demanding who are the journalists you\u2019re talking to. \u00a0And then, of course, when Matt Taibbi is testifying, the IRS is knocking on his door and now an\u00a0indictment of a former president, the guy who happens to be leading in every single poll.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is about all of us. This is about going after anyone who opposes the left\u2019s agenda, the establishment\u2019s agenda. And that\u2019s maybe the most scary thing of all.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
