ANALYSIS\/OPINION:<\/strong><\/p>\n George Soros is 89 years old, but by gosh, before he dies, he\u2019s going to see to the internal destruction of America.<\/p>\n At least that\u2019s how it seems.<\/p>\n How else can we listen to his words in\u00a0Davos<\/a>, Switzerland, track his funding of American political races and pay attention to what he says about President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>, capitalism, and the leftist causes he backs and the leftist Open Society Foundations he runs, and come to any other conclusion?<\/p>\n In the last few years, Soros has taken to trying to take over local law enforcement agencies by pumping massive amounts of money into candidates he favors in key district attorney races.<\/p>\n \u201cGeorge Soros\u2019 quiet overhaul of the US justice system,\u201d Politico\u00a0reported<\/a>, way back in August of 2016.<\/p>\n It continues in present day.<\/p>\n \u201cPAC funded by George Soros pumps nearly $1 million into local races for prosecutor,\u201d The Washington Post\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0in June, about the money from the Justice and Public Safety PAC that went to the left-leaners of both Arlington County, Virginia, and Fairfax County, Virginia, commonwealth\u2019s attorney races.\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cSoros Adds Intrigue and $800,000 to D.A. Race, Backing Progressive,\u201d The New York Times\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0in November.<\/p>\n The district attorney\u2019s office is one of the first local lines of defense of the Constitution and the rule of law. That means the potential for immediate progressive impact is huge \u2014 and it\u2019s an impact that can be had without all that costly political fighting over, say, a senator\u2019s seat, or a Supreme Court slot.<\/p>\n Buying D.A. seats gives you good bang for the buck, in other words. And oftentimes, quietly, unbeknownst to those who might oppose.<\/p>\n That doesn\u2019t mean Soros isn\u2019t busily buying into congressional races, too. or the media. Or \u2014 and this, particularly in recent months \u2014 the grassroots.<\/p>\n Democracy Alliance, a nonprofit founded in 2005 to advance a progressive vision throughout America, and funded by wealthy elites, recently shifted its charitable giving strategy from think tanks in high-powered Washington, D.C., to small, mostly unknown groups in various communities. Why?<\/p>\n Call it \u2014 once again \u2014 under-the-radar influence.<\/p>\n Politico in 2018\u00a0described<\/a>\u00a0the process: \u201cKevin Rodriguez, a 19-year-old aspiring singer in tight jeans and gray-and-white Nike high tops, had never heard of the powerful progressive donor group Democracy Alliance. But he is a key part of the secretive billionaire club\u2019s plot to flip the Sun Belt. The donor clique, which counts George Soros and Tom Steyer among its members, is quietly giving funds to a handful of local grassroots groups like Rodriguez\u2019s employer, Living United for Change in Arizona.\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s a strategy aimed at quietly taking down President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>, one \u201cnew voter in rapidly diversifying states across the southern U.S.\u201d at a time, as Politico wrote.<\/p>\n It\u2019s a strategy that skirts the enemy\u2019s knowledge, and therefore, oftentimes, the enemy\u2019s win.<\/p>\n And it\u2019s a strategy that takes full advantage of dark money-type donations that are difficult to track and even more difficult to thwart.<\/p>\n It\u2019s one thing for Soros to take his hatred of this president and his disdain for free market America to the public stage \u2014 as he just did in\u00a0Davos<\/a>, when he criticized\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0as a \u201ccon man\u201d whose \u201cnarcissism\u201d has turned \u201cinto a malignant disease,\u201d as CNBC reported.<\/p>\n It\u2019s another for Soros to slide, on the sly, his anti-American influences deep into America\u2019s politics and culture. And now: education.<\/p>\n In\u00a0Davos<\/a>, he announced the infusion of $1 billion into a new Open Society University Network to fund schools around the world \u2014 to \u201ceducate against nationalism,\u201d is how the Financial Times\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0it.<\/p>\n In other words: to train the next generation in the evils of sovereignty \u2014 to teach the emerging youth how to become good obedient citizens of the world.<\/p>\n
