\nPhillip Buckhaults, Ph.D., is an experienced molecular biologist and cancer geneticists who has extensive experience with next-gen sequencing applications for global gene expression analysis and gene mutation detection.<\/p>\n

Buckhaults characterized the expression landscapes of colon tumors to identify signatures of recurrence and the mutation landscapes of breast and colon tumors to identify novel cancer genes, and he has profiled cancer gene mutation signatures in melanomas to determine novel therapeutic modalities based on targeting PI3K and BRAF pathways.<\/p>\n

South Carolina Professor finds 200 billion pieces of DNA contaminating a single dose of Pfizer\u2019s covid injection<\/h1>\n

Last week, cancer genomics expert Dr. Phillip Buckhaults testified to the South Carolina Senate about the DNA contamination found in Pfizer\u2019s mRNA covid vaccines.<\/strong>\u00a0There are an estimated 200 billion pieces of plasmid DNA in each dose of the Pfizer covid vaccine, he said.\u00a0 These pieces of DNA are packaged in lipid nanoparticles, basically a synthetic virus, and are delivered into vaccinees\u2019 cells.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Phillip Buckhaults<\/a>\u00a0is a Professor at the University of South Carolina.\u00a0 He has a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology and conducts cancer genomics research. \u00a0What that effectively means is he and his team are specialists at detecting foreign pieces of DNA in places where they are not supposed to be.<\/p>\n

On 12 September, he testified before the\u00a0South Carolina Senate Medical Affairs<\/a>\u00a0Ad-Hoc Committee on the\u00a0Department of Health and Environmental Control<\/a>\u00a0(\u201cDHEC\u201d).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Pfizer vaccine is contaminated with plasmid DNA. It\u2019s not just mRNA, it\u2019s got bits of DNA in it.\u201d Prof. Buckhaults said.<\/p>\n

A colleague who was in charge of the vaccination programme in Columbia, South Carolina, \u00a0kept all the Pfizer vials, containing remnants of the contents, from the two batches that were used.\u00a0 From the remnants, Prof. Buckhaults sequenced all the DNA that was in these vials. \u201cI can see what\u2019s in [the vaccines] and it\u2019s surprising that there\u2019s any DNA in there. And you can kind of work out what it is and how it got there and I\u2019m kind of alarmed about the possible consequences of this both in terms of human health and biology,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis DNA, in my view, it could be causing some of the rare, but serious, side effects like death from cardiac arrest.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThis DNA can and likely will integrate into the genomic DNA of cells that got transfected with the vaccine mix \u2026 we do this in the lab all the time; we take pieces of DNA, we mix them up with a lipid complex, like the Pfizer vaccine is in, we pour it onto cells and a lot of it gets into the cells. \u00a0And a lot of it gets into the DNA of those cells and it becomes a permanent fixture of the cell.\u00a0 It\u2019s not just a temporary thing.\u00a0 It is in that cell from now on and all of its progeny from now on and forever more \u2026\u00a0 So, that\u2019s why I\u2019m kind of alarmed about this DNA being in the vaccine. It\u2019s different from RNA because it can be permanent.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Based on solid molecular biology, it is a theoretical but reasonable concern that this DNA could cause a sustained autoimmune attack towards that tissue, he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s also a very real theoretical risk of future cancer in some people. Depending on where in the genome this foreign piece of DNA lands it can interrupt a tumour suppressor or activate an oncogene,\u201d he added. \u201cI think it\u2019ll be rare but I think the risk is not zero.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDNA is a long-lived,\u201d Prof. Buckhaults explained.\u00a0 \u201cWhat you were born with you\u2019re going to die with and pass on to your kids. DNA lasts for hundreds of thousands of years \u2026 So, alterations to the DNA \u2013 they stick around.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prof. Buckhaults explained that there are a LOT of pieces of DNA in Pfizer\u2019s vaccines.\u00a0 Although some are 5,000 and 500 base pairs long, most of the pieces are around 100 base pairs. But this is irrelevant because the probability of a piece of DNA integrating into the human genome is unrelated to its size.\u00a0 \u201cYour genome risk is just a function of how many particles there are,\u201d he said. \u201cAll these little pieces of DNA that are in the vaccine [give] many many thousands of opportunities to modify a cell of a vaccinated person.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe pieces are very small because during the process they chopped them up to try to make them go away \u2013 but they actually increased the hazard of genome modification in the process.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Prof. Buckhaults\u2019 team took all these little pieces of DNA and \u201cglued them together\u201d to try to establish its source.\u00a0 After putting together 100,000 pieces of DNA they were able to establish it came from\u00a0a plasmid that can be purchased online from Agilent<\/a>, a\u00a0Californian life sciences company<\/a>\u00a0which was established in 1999 as a spin-off from Hewlett Packard.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s clear that Pfizer took this plasmid and then they cloned spike into it and they used it in a process \u2026 where you feed an RNA polymerase, this plasmid, and it makes a whole bunch of mRNA copies \u2026 and then you take this mRNA and you mix it with the lipid nanoparticle transfection agent and now you\u2019ve got your mRNA vaccine.\u00a0 But they failed to get the DNA out before they did this \u2026 they did make some effort to chop it up so all these little pieces of the plasma got packaged in with the RNA.\u00a0 That\u2019s clear as day what happened just from the forensics of looking at the DNA sequencing,\u201d Prof. Buckhaults said.<\/p>\n

He explained that this process was not the same as the process that was in the vaccines used to gain emergency authorisation (\u201cEUA\u201d).\u00a0 So, there was no DNA in the batches used for the trials before the mass covid injection campaigns. The problem with DNA contamination only occurred when Pfizer scaled up production for the administration of millions\/billions of doses to the public after it had gained EUA.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can quantify how much of this [DNA] is in a vaccine \u2026 I estimate that there were about two billion copies of the one piece [of the plasmid] that we\u2019re looking for in every dose \u2026 If you see two billion copies of [one piece] \u2026 [then] there\u2019s probably about 200 billion of pieces of this plasmid DNA in each dose of the vaccine,\u201d Prof. Buckhaults said.<\/p>\n

The hundreds of billions of pieces of plasmid DNA are encapsulated in the lipid nanoparticles so it\u2019s ready to be delivered into the cell.\u00a0 \u201cThis is a bad idea,\u201d he said.\u00a0 \u201c[The DNA is] basically packaged in a synthetic virus able to dump its contents into a cell.\u201d<\/p>\n

He recommended that some vaccinated people be tested to see if the plasmid DNA is integrating into their genomes.\u00a0 This harm you can prove.\u00a0 With other vaccine harms you can be suspicious because of the timing but you can\u2019t really prove it. \u201cThis one you can prove it because it leaves a calling card.\u00a0 [If] you find it in the stem cells of harmed people, it\u2019s equivalent to finding a certain type of lead in someone who is now dead, it\u2019s pretty reasonable to assume that that\u2019s what caused it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
