A recent comprehensive study\u00a0found that there is no medical benefit for young people to receive so-called \u201cgender-affirming care.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0 A study conducted by the UK nonprofit organization Sex Matters\u00a0found<\/a>\u00a0that the alleged benefits of \u201cgender-affirming care\u201d are \u201cno greater than a placebo effect.\u201d While the United States seems to doubling down on this insanity, our European friends have started to realize the dangers.<\/p>\n Flashback:<\/strong>California Is Transitioning Into a Sanctuary State for Pedophiles<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n In July of last year, England\u2019s only transgender clinic\u00a0closed<\/a>\u00a0due to concerns that doctors were performing surgeries without considering children\u2019s mental health. Several other European countries, including Sweden, Finland, and France, have all\u00a0dialed back<\/a>\u00a0on pushing transgender \u201ctreatments\u201d for children because they have begun to recognize the harm it does to kids. Studies also show that as many as 90% of young people who \u201cidentify\u201d as transgender but are not encouraged to transition (socially or medically) will\u00a0no longer identify as such<\/a>\u00a0upon reaching adulthood.<\/p>\n The case for butchering children is so weak that earlier this year, an expert witness for the Democrats\u00a0was unable to cite<\/a>\u00a0any evidence of benefits for transitioning children.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, California has been leading the nation in radical transgender laws. Last year, Gov. Newsom signed a bill, SB 107, which made California a sanctuary state for child mutilation by offering legal protection to parents of gender-confused children from other states where \u201cgender-affirming care\u201d for kids has been restricted.<\/p>\n Related:<\/strong>California Officially Becomes a Sanctuary State for Child Mutilation<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n That bill, like the Senate version of AB 957, was introduced by California state Sen. Scott Wiener, a gay Democrat representing San Francisco, who is also reportedly interested in running for Nancy Pelosi\u2019s congressional seat when she retires. Weiner is also the author of the pro-pedophile bill\u00a0SB145<\/a>\u00a0that passed in 2020. That bill ended automatic sex offender registry rules for some adults who commit sex acts with minors. Proponents of the legislation claimed it would end \u201cdiscrimination against LGBTQ young people on the sex offender registry.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

On Friday, the California Assembly passed AB 957, which means that a parent who doesn\u2019t \u201caffirm\u201d their child\u2019s \u201cgender identity\u201d could lose custody of that child.AB 957 amends the state Family Code to include \u201ca parent\u2019s affirmation of the child\u2019s gender identity or gender expression as part of the health, safety, and welfare of the child.\u201dThe bill is now headed for Gov. Gavin Newsom\u2019s desk, where he will most certainly sign it.<\/p>\n
