Notable Evangelical leaders have signed a letter urging key political leaders to take a stand against antisemitism, support Israel and respond to the massacre by Hamas on Oct. 7, which they described as the most \u201csignificant since the Holocaust.\u201d<\/p>\n

The letter, a copy of which was provided to The Christian Post, urges Congress to \u201cwithout delay take the following specific steps to fight antisemitism and ensure that the Jewish state survives this horrific attack.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe represent many faith traditions and have come together, in one united voice, to defend our shared humanity against barbarism and terror,\u201d the letter released on Monday states.<\/p>\n

The Christian leaders call for concrete steps from Congress, such as funding Israel\u2019s defenses, passing acts against antisemitism and overseeing measures to prevent and punish hate crimes in the U.S.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the wake of this horrific terror, antisemitic protests erupted in the United States and around the world. We will not remain silent in response. Like the signatories of this letter, the majority of Americans continue to stand by their Jewish brothers and sisters in the United States and in the Jewish homeland of Israel. As Jews remain the target of more than half of religion-motivated hate crimes in the United States and as Israel faces a fight for its survival, Americans of all faiths and backgrounds must take action now,\u201d they wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith this letter, we issue a united condemnation of antisemitism and proclaim our support for Israel\u2019s right to self-defense. Let\u2019s set the record straight with some FACTS:<\/p>\n

1. Israel is not a victim; it is an aggressor state.<\/b><\/p>\n

Ever since December of 1947, the Israeli military has committed abominable acts of aggression against the peaceful people of Palestine. With the help of Great Britain and the United States (especially President Harry Truman), the atheistic, warmongering leaders of the Zionist movement led a bloodthirsty attack against an innocent and unarmed population, committing acts of brutality, rape, kidnapping, torture, mutilation, plunder and murder as they carried out massive\u00a0ethnic cleansing<\/a>\u00a0and genocide against the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n

You so-called evangelical leaders use the word \u201cholocaust\u201d to describe the actions of Hamas against the Israeli military. If that\u2019s the case, then the French Resistance committed acts of \u201cholocaust\u201d against the occupying Nazi troops in France during World War II, because Israel is no less an occupation force, equal in spirit and act to the Nazi regime.<\/p>\n

The REAL holocaust in Palestine has been committed by Israel, not Hamas. Since the assault and occupation of Palestine began in 1947, Israel has murdered more than\u00a05 million Palestinian people<\/a>. And since Israel\u2019s Six-Day War in which it launched a blitzkrieg-style attack against its Arab neighbors in 1967, the Palestinian people have been treated like cattle in the open-air prison that is known as Gaza and the West Bank.<\/p>\n

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts<\/a>\u00a0accurately describes Western evangelicalism under the \u201cleadership\u201d of you men listed above:<\/p>\n

Every Western institution has failed.\u00a0 Governments represent powerful material interests, not citizens. Universities and public schools are indoctrination centers against Western civilization and white people.\u00a0 Media is a propaganda ministry in behalf of official narratives.\u00a0 Law is no longer a shield of the people; it is a weapon used by those in power against political opponents, which means democracy and free speech are dead.\u00a0\u00a0And now Christians have turned from Christ and endorsed genocide.<\/b>\u00a0[Emphasis added]<\/p>\n

2. Your Israel prophecies are a devilish counterfeit.<\/b><\/p>\n

ALL of the Old Testament prophecies regarding national Israel have been fulfilled. Every last one of them! National Israel\u2014or, more factually, the remnant of national Israel in the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, including the city of Jerusalem and the Jewish temple\u2014were annihilated by God, using the Roman army as His instrument of justice\u2014in 70AD. The Assyrians had already destroyed the ten northern tribes some seven hundred years earlier.<\/p>\n

The city you call \u201cJerusalem” today is NOT the Biblical city of Jerusalem. That city is gone forever. The city called \u201cJerusalem” in Palestine today is a Roman city built by Emperor Hadrian in 135 AD and was named Aelia Capitolina\u2014meaning \u201cthe city of Hadrian and Jupiter.\u201d The walls around the \u201cOld City” of Aelia Capitolina were built by the Ottoman ruler Suleiman the Magnificent in 1516.<\/p>\n

Modern Jerusalem is a pagan city. In the Revelation, the Holy Spirit inspired the Apostle John to refer to even Biblical Jerusalem as \u201cEgypt\u201d and \u201cSodom\u201d and \u201cBabylon.\u201d There is no more \u201choly city\u201d of Jerusalem, just as there are no more biological \u201cJews\u201d as \u201cGod\u2019s chosen people.\u201d<\/p>\n

In your signed letter, you refer to modern Israel as \u201cthe Jewish homeland.\u201d That statement is classic Scofield propaganda. The Zionist Jews in Palestine today came from Europe, which is why they are called \u201cAshkenazi\u201d Jews. They have no more Abrahamic blood flowing through their veins than you or I. The homeland of the Ashkenazics is not the land of Palestine; it is the land of the Khazars. The minority Sephardic Jews are the only ones who have a legitimate claim to ancestral homelands in Palestine, and the Ashkenazi Zionists hate the Sephardic Jews and persecute them almost as much as they do the Palestinians. Sirs, what does that tell you?<\/p>\n

However, Palestine IS the homeland of, well, the Palestinians. Many, if not most, of the Palestinians whose land has been stolen from them by violence and blood can trace their lineage to the land for up to one thousand years.<\/p>\n

Some of you fellows must know all of this, but either for reasons of fear or greed, you refuse to acknowledge this truth.<\/p>\n

Plus, under Christ\u2019s New Covenant, God\u2019s chosen people are not people of ANY race; they are people of ALL races who come to faith in Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:4)<\/p>\n

You fellows deliberately and deceitfully choose to not tell your followers the truth about the New Covenant people of God. You willfully ignore or misapply the vast majority of the Book of Galatians, verses such as Galatians 3:16:<\/p>\n

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.<\/p>\n

And Galatians 3:28, 29:<\/p>\n

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye\u00a0be<\/i>\u00a0Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.<\/p>\n

You pretend that Romans 9:6 – 8 is not in the Bible:<\/p>\n

For they\u00a0are\u00a0<\/i>not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham,\u00a0are they<\/i>\u00a0all children [of God]: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these\u00a0are\u00a0<\/i>not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.<\/p>\n

The same is true for Romans 2:28, 29:<\/p>\n

For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither\u00a0is that<\/i>\u00a0circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he\u00a0is<\/i>\u00a0a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision\u00a0is that<\/i>\u00a0of the heart, in the spirit,\u00a0and<\/i>\u00a0not in the letter; whose praise\u00a0is<\/i>\u00a0not of men, but of God.<\/p>\n

Plus, your convoluted teaching of prophecy is not only misguided; it is patently diabolical.<\/p>\n

3. Because of your egregious misinterpretation of prophecy, you are happy to endorse and promote racial hatred, theft, kidnapping and mass murder: all in the name of prophecy.<\/b><\/p>\n

The New York Times<\/i>\u00a0reported Saturday<\/a>\u00a0that Israel is killing Palestinian civilians in Gaza at a historic pace. The huge civilian death toll in Gaza is explained by the scale of the bombing campaign and Israel\u2019s willingness to drop\u00a0US-provided 2,000-pound bombs on densely populated areas<\/b>\u00a0that are packed with civilians.<\/p>\n

Marc Garlasco, a former Pentagon analyst who advises the Dutch NGO PAX, told the\u00a0Times<\/i>\u00a0that he\u2019s never seen anything like it.\u00a0“It\u2019s beyond anything that I\u2019ve seen in my career,”<\/b>\u00a0he said. Garlasco added that to find a historical comparison for so many large bombs in such a small area, one would have to “go back to Vietnam or the Second World War.”<\/p>\n

Israeli officials have frequently cited the Allied strategic bombings of Japan and Germany during World War II to justify their onslaught in Gaza. The comparison includes the\u00a0US fire bombings of Japanese cities<\/b>, which killed around 100,000 civilians in Tokyo in one night in 1945, as well as the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.<\/p>\n

Israel has also invoked the US air campaign against ISIS, which killed tens of thousands of civilians in Iraq and Syria. But even the most brutal battle of the ISIS war does not compare to Israel\u2019s onslaught in Gaza. According to an\u00a0AP<\/i>\u00a0investigation<\/a>,\u00a0between 9,000 and 11,000 civilians died during the Battle of Mosul<\/b>. About a third were killed by US-led coalition airstrikes or Iraqi forces, a third were killed by ISIS, and the cause of death for the rest is undetermined.<\/p>\n

The Battle of Mosul lasted for nine months<\/b>, from October 2016 to July 2017. In less than two months in Gaza, the Israeli bombardment has killed at least 10,000 civilians, based on a conservative estimate cited by\u00a0The Times<\/i>.<\/p>\n

The Times<\/i>\u00a0report said, “People are being killed in Gaza more quickly, they say, than in even the deadliest moments of US-led attacks in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan, which were themselves widely criticized by human rights groups.”<\/p>\n

The Israeli onslaught also dwarves the civilian casualties in the war in Ukraine since Russia invaded in February 2022.\u00a0In one year and nine months of fighting<\/b>, the UN\u00a0estimates<\/a>\u00a0at least 10,000 civilians have been killed in Ukraine<\/b>, including\u00a0560 children<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The last update released by Gaza\u2019s Health Ministry on November 10, after just 35 days of Israel\u2019s campaign, said over 4,500 Palestinian children had been killed in Gaza, which the US State Department acknowledged\u00a0was considered to be a low estimate at the time<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite the massive civilian and child death toll, the US continues to provide Israel with unconditional military aid. The White House has acknowledged that Israel is killing\u00a0thousands of innocent people in Gaza<\/a>\u00a0but has said\u00a0there are no “red lines”<\/a>\u00a0that would impact US support<\/p>\n

Make no mistake about it, Gentlemen: This is YOUR doing! Evangelical leaders such as yourselves have been providing cover for Israel\u2019s mass murders since Israel became a state in 1948. Yet, you step into your pulpits on Sunday and preach about \u201cthe love of God\u201d and refer to Jesus as \u201cthe Prince of Peace.\u201d But the wars YOU endorse, promote and cheer are murdering multiplied thousands of your own Christian brothers and sisters in Palestine. Christian brothers and sisters that you show ZERO compassion for.<\/p>\n

How can you teach the Epistles of John with a straight face and clear conscience?<\/p>\n

I John 3:14:<\/p>\n

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not\u00a0his\u00a0<\/i>brother abideth in death.<\/p>\n

I John 4:20:<\/p>\n

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?<\/p>\n

In the letter that you signed, you refer to your \u201cJewish brothers and sisters.\u201d Are you THAT illiterate of the Scriptures? Modern Jews are Talmudists who deny and mock the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. The apostle John calls such people \u201cantichrists.\u201d (I John 2:22) Yet you call them \u201cbrothers and sisters.\u201d But the only brothers and sisters you have in Palestine are the Palestinian Christians that you, through your vocal support of the war against them, are guilty of murdering.<\/p>\n

Do you even think about what you teach about prophecy? You teach that \u201cantichrist\u201d will make a peace treaty with Israel, which he will break. After which, he will unleash his armies against Israel, which will be\u00a0slaughtered<\/b>\u00a0with only a remnant surviving. And only\u00a0then<\/b>\u00a0will Christ return. You say that ALL of this MUST happen before Christ can return.<\/p>\n

Question, Gentlemen: If your eschatology teaches you that it is God\u2019s Will that Israel be destroyed by \u201cantichrist,\u201d and that this MUST happen in accordance with God\u2019s prophetic Scriptures, why are you trying so hard to preserve Israel? How do you know that you are not fighting against God\u2019s Will for Israel and hindering the return of Christ?<\/p>\n

Oh, don\u2019t think I don\u2019t understand that you think you all will be \u201craptured\u201d before this takes place. I guess you think that that absolves you from any and all moral and ethical responsibility. So, until the \u201crapture\u201d takes place, you can take the rich Jew\u2019s money and promote his murders and wars and not have a guilty conscience.<\/p>\n

Gentlemen, your understanding of eschatology is a fairytale, but it is a very dangerous fairytale.<\/p>\n

4. Have you even read the Jewish rabbis?<\/b><\/p>\n

From the beginning of the Zionist movement in the nineteenth century, the most notable Jewish rabbis in the world almost unanimously condemned Zionism in the strongest language. Here are just a few examples:<\/p>\n
