Rudy Giuliani says Democrats want to have him executed because of his dealings with Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Giuliani, President Donald Trump\u2019s personal attorney, made his remarks during an address at the Turning Point USA\u2019s Student Action Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Thursday.<\/p>\n
According to\u00a0CBS 12 News<\/a>, he claimed Democrats and reporters are going through his past looking for incriminating information.<\/p>\n \u201cThey want to put (Attorney General William) Barr in prison, and they want to execute me,\u201d Giuliani said.<\/p>\n Turning to the president\u2019s impeachment, Giuliani said, \u201cIts illegal, it\u2019s immoral and its unconstitutional.\u201d<\/p>\n And\u00a0The Palm Beach Post<\/a>\u00a0noted that Giuliani maintained there is no \u201chigh crime or misdemeanor called \u2018abuse of power.\u2019\u201d And he said the biggest obstruction of Congress is (House Speaker) Nancy Pelosi.\u201d<\/p>\n The newspaper pointed out that Giuliani had previously acknowledged meeting with Ukrainians and encouraging a probe of former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter and their dealings with Ukraine.<\/p>\n \u201cJoe Biden can actually just be carrying a sign \u2018I committed bribery. I committed bribery\u2019 and the press will say the charges have been debunked,\u201d Giuliani said. \u201cHe is so guilty, it is ridiculous.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Miami Herald<\/a> quoted Giuliani as saying: \u201cI could prosecute that case in three weeks and if I didn\u2019t get a conviction, I\u2019d resign from practicing law. He\u2019s so guilty it\u2019s ridiculous.\u201d<\/p>\n As for himself, Giuliani said he is being singled out in a politically motivated attack, the\u00a0South Florida Sun-Sentinel<\/a>\u00a0reported.<\/p>\n \u201cI assure you I have never committed a crime,\u201d Giuliani said. “I have been a prosecutor all my life. You can go read about the people I put in prison.\u201d<\/p>\n
