{"id":23502,"date":"2020-08-05T11:23:58","date_gmt":"2020-08-05T15:23:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=23502"},"modified":"2020-08-05T11:23:58","modified_gmt":"2020-08-05T15:23:58","slug":"welder-spark-on-purpose-heres-how-the-perpetrators-and-the-msm-cover-up-artists-are-spinning-the-beirut-terrorist-bombing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=23502","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;WELDER SPARK ON PURPOSE!&#8221; Here&#8217;s how the perpetrators and the MSM cover-up artists are spinning the Beirut terrorist bombing!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>At least 100 people are killed and thousands hurt as &#8216;welder&#8217; at Beirut port sparks fire near warehouse where 2,700 TONS of highly explosive chemical &#8216;seized from a ship&#8217; were being stored detonating blast the size of a small nuclear bomb<\/h2>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul class=\"mol-bullets-with-font\">\n<li class=\"class\"><strong>WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT: The country&#8217;s health minster said the blast has left more than 4,000 injured\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"class\"><strong>Dramatic footage shows smoke billowing from the port area shortly before an enormous fireball explodes\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"class\"><strong>Lebanon&#8217;s interior minister said ammonium nitrate had been stored in warehouses at the port since 2014\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"class\"><strong>Blast was equivalent to around 3 kilotons of TNT, 20% the size of the nuclear bomb that destroyed Hiroshima<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"class\"><strong>The explosion rattled shutters on homes in the Cypriot city of Larnaca, 125 miles across the Mediterranean<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"class\"><strong>It obliterated the immediate surrounding buildings, where firefighters were still battling flames overnight\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"class\"><strong>Security sources this morning claimed a welder had sparked the initial fire that in turn ignited the chemicals<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By JACK ELSOM and RYAN FAHEY and WILLIAM COLE FOR MAILONLINE<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">One of the world&#8217;s biggest-ever peacetime explosions tore through the port in Beirut last night, killing at least 100 people, injuring thousands more and laying waste to a large part of the Lebanese capital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">More than 2,750 tons of highly explosive ammonium nitrate, the main ingredient in fertilizer bombs, detonated when a fire apparently sparked by a welder spread to the warehouse where it had been stored for six years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Apocalyptic scenes saw a\u00a0thick red-orange mushroom cloud envelop streets surrounding the port, where buildings burned and emergency crews frantically searched the rubble for survivors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Damaged hospitals were last night creaking under the strain of more than 4,000 casualties wounded by the blast,\u00a0 which was even heard 125 miles away in Cyprus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Rescuers worked through the night into Wednesday morning in a country already reeling from its worst economic crisis in decades.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Residents of Beirut awoke to a scene of devastation this morning with smoke still rising from the port, where a towering grain silo was shattered. Major downtown streets were littered with debris and damaged vehicles, and building facades were blown out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The head of Lebanon&#8217;s Red Cross said:\u00a0&#8216;What we are witnessing is a huge catastrophe.
