{"id":235090,"date":"2024-06-26T06:52:38","date_gmt":"2024-06-26T10:52:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=235090"},"modified":"2024-06-26T06:52:38","modified_gmt":"2024-06-26T10:52:38","slug":"it-was-a-very-bad-day-for-bibi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=235090","title":{"rendered":"<h2><b> It Was A Very Bad Day For Bibi!<\/b><\/h2>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->Ferndale, WA<br \/>\nJune 25, 2024<\/p>\n<p>by Rich Scheck<\/p>\n<p>An Ex-Shin Bet leader has now joined those in the IDF who have strongly criticized<br \/>\nthe Israeli PM Netanyahu in public: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=u4fF4rSktug\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=u4fF4rSktug<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bibi&#8217;s support of military exemptions for Orthodox Jews exacerbated his problems with<br \/>\nthose who saw that as unfair to the rest of Israel&#8217;s citizens who all must serve three<br \/>\nyears for men and two for women.<\/p>\n<p>In a time of war, that did not go over well except for with his right wing base who may<br \/>\nbolt the government following the Supreme Court ruling that the policy must be abandoned.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/israel-politics-ruling-military-service-orthodox-e2a8359bcea1bd833f71845ee6af780d\">https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/israel-politics-ruling-military-service-orthodox-e2a8359bcea1bd833f71845ee6af780d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jeff Sachs added his perspective with Judge Napolitano this morning where he outlined<br \/>\nBibi&#8217;s &#8220;troubles&#8221; while not even discussing all of what I&#8217;ve mentioned.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DaNtyl22f6M\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DaNtyl22f6M<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s no surprise to learn Bibi&#8217;s wife was upset with the IDF officers she accused of<br \/>\na &#8220;coup&#8221; for challenging her husband&#8217;s leadership.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/breaking-news\/article-807671\">https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/breaking-news\/article-807671<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Netanyahu has weathered all these storms in the past and has been able to successfully<br \/>\nnavigate the tortuous path to power that underlies Israeli politics.<br \/>\nhttp:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?s=hyper-resilient<\/p>\n<p>But where it may get really ugly for the hyper-resilient Bibi pertains to the news that<br \/>\nthe IDF had detailed knowledge of the Hamas plan of attack prior to it occurring.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rumormillnews.com\/cgi-bin\/forum.cgi?read=242425\">https:\/\/www.rumormillnews.com\/cgi-bin\/forum.cgi?read=242425<\/a><\/p>\n<p>That not only confirms the suspicions of some that the official narrative of the day&#8217;s<br \/>\nevents fell far short of providing an accurate picture of what happened including the<br \/>\nreliance by the IDF on the Hannibal Directive which dramatically increased the level<br \/>\nof casualties.<\/p>\n<p>The far more serious and possibly fatal problem for Bibi is that the IDF document provides<br \/>\nsubstantial confirmation that his strategy is far more about staying in power and avoiding<br \/>\naccountability than it is about resolving the complex issues about Gaza&#8217;s future.<\/p>\n<p>I hinted in a recent article that the release of the IDF document about Bibi&#8217;s prior knowledge of the attack was a not so subtle attempt to oust him. <a href=\"http:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=234164\">http:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=234164<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So when a former Shin Bet leader goes full out attacking him publicly in war time, it&#8217;s hard<br \/>\nto avoid believing that the end may be finally in sight for Bibi.<\/p>\n<p>What follows in the midst of such a volatile situation is anyone&#8217;s guess.
