Justin Sullivan\/Getty Images<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In 2016, NTP\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ntp.niehs.nih.gov\/whatwestudy\/assessments\/noncancer\/completed\/fluoride\">started<\/a>\u00a0a systematic review of scientific literature to ascertain links between fluoride and cognition. On Aug. 21, it published a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ntp.niehs.nih.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2024-08\/fluoride_final_508.pdf\">report<\/a>\u00a0detailing its findings.
