ERIE, Pa. (AP) \u2014 Republican presidential nominee\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a><\/span>\u00a0escalated his personal attacks on his Democratic rival,\u00a0Kamala Harris<\/a><\/span>, on Sunday by repeating an insult that she was \u201cmentally impaired\u201d while also saying she should be \u201cimpeached and prosecuted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, took on similar themes as an\u00a0event one day earlier<\/a><\/span>\u00a0that he himself described as a \u201cdark speech.\u201d He told a cheering crowd Sunday that Harris was responsible for an \u201cinvasion\u201d at the U.S.-Mexico border and \u201cshe should be impeached and prosecuted for her actions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCrooked Joe Biden became mentally impaired,\u201d he added. \u201cSad. But lying Kamala Harris, honestly, I believe she was born that way. There\u2019s something wrong with Kamala. And I just don\u2019t know what it is, but there is definitely something missing. And you know what, everybody knows it.\u201d<\/p>\n
