(Natural News<\/a>) A 35-year-old Massachusetts man who, based on\u00a0his picture<\/a>, appears to be a little light in the loafers has been\u00a0acquitted by a jury<\/a>\u00a0after offering a $500 bounty on Twitter to anyone willing to murder an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent.<\/p>\n Brandon Ziobrowski of Cambridge had reportedly posted an announcement on his social media account encouraging his followers to take the life of an ICE agent in exchange for cash \u2013 a clear and present threat that a local jury ultimately determined to be \u201cprotected speech\u201d under the First Amendment.<\/p>\n Even as social media companies like Facebook\u00a0aggressively de-platform<\/a>\u00a0users for posting truthful information about vaccines that goes against the official government narrative, Ziobrowski was given a free pass to continue running his mouth online \u2013 could it be because he\u2019s a member of\u00a0a protected societal class<\/a>?<\/p>\n We won\u2019t speculate any further on that angle, but one thing is for sure: Ziobrowski obviously hates federal law enforcement officials who are tasked with addressing illegal immigration. As a typical American liberal, Ziobrowski presumably believes that \u201cno human is illegal\u201d \u2013 except for humans who work at ICE, however, whom he believes should be extinguished.<\/p>\n \u201cIt seemed like the right verdict,\u201d Ziobrowski is quoted as saying as he walked out of the court room completely vindicated for making these online threats. \u201cIt\u2019s been a horrible year. I\u2019m glad it\u2019s over.\u201d<\/p>\n Had Ziobrowski been convicted of using interstate and foreign commerce to transmit a threat, he could have ended up in prison for up to five years, as well as forced to pay a $250,000 fine. But because it\u2019s now \u201cpolitically correct<\/a>\u201d to wish for the death of ICE agents, Ziobrowski was set free.<\/p>\n \u201cWe respect the jury\u2019s verdict. But in this case, the defendant posted a tweet that, on its face, offered $500 to anyone who killed a federal agent,\u201d stated U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling in a follow-up statement to the decision.<\/p>\n \u201cIn 2019, over 100 law enforcement officers died in the line of duty. The public needs to know that, regardless of today\u2019s verdict, we will never hesitate to prosecute threats against law enforcement officers.\u201d<\/p>\n Keep in mind that Ziobrowski\u2019s offending tweet wasn\u2019t an isolated incident. The guy has reportedly tweeted and shared all sorts of offensive content on social media that, were Ziobrowski a conservative, would have at the very least warranted him being shadow-banned or removed from social media entirely, if not prosecuted and actually sent to prison for \u201chate speech.\u201d<\/p>\n We don\u2019t know about you, but we think offering money in exchange for murder is about as hateful as it gets. And yet it\u2019s not the right\u00a0kind<\/i>\u00a0of hate as to warrant the same type of punishment that 30-year-old Adolfo Martinez from Ames, Iowa, received after he was convicted of \u2013\u00a0gasp<\/i>! \u2013 stealing an LGBTQ \u201crainbow\u201d flag from a local \u201cchurch\u201d and burning it.<\/p>\n Martinez received a whopping 16 years in prison for this \u201chate crime,\u201d even though nobody and nothing was harmed besides the cheap made-in-China piece of cloth. Meanwhile, Ziobrowski offers to pay off a bounty hunter, essentially, and is let off the hook completely because the leftist jury in his case apparently loves homosexuals and hates ICE \u2013 meaning Ziobrowski\u2019s hate is the \u201cacceptable\u201d kind.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat would happen if someone tweeted an offer to have him deleted?\u201d asked one\u00a0Fox News<\/i>\u00a0commenter about a scenario in which the tables were turned.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is considered free speech? Then what about the Confederate monuments,\u201d asked another.<\/p>\n \u201cTo threaten someone is acceptable but to be offended or to be perceived to be called a name is bigoted and hateful?
