President Donald Trump continued reacting Saturday to the\u00a0Atlantic<\/em>\u00a0story claiming he referred to American fallen soldiers as \u201csuckers\u201d and \u201closers.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis reminds me of the Dirty Dossier, which was pushed hard by John McCain, and then with a thud turned out to be a total fraud,\u201d Trump wrote on Twitter.<\/p>\n The president was referring to the infamous Christopher Steele dossier of salacious, unproven allegations about Trump that were paid for by Hillary Clinton\u2019s campaign.<\/p>\n Journalists and top-level political figures passed the dossier around during the 2016 election and released it in full after Trump was elected president.<\/p>\n Trump said the\u00a0Atlantic<\/em>\u00a0article was the product of \u201ca slimeball reporter, maybe working with disgruntled people\u201d to \u201cmake up\u201d a bad story.<\/p>\n Current and former officials continue waging war against the article, which was based entirely on anonymous sources.\u00a0Trump also criticized the story in a press conference on Friday.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is nobody that feels more strongly about our soldiers, our wounded warriors, our soldiers that died in war than I do,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s a hoax, just like the fake dossier was a hoax, just like the \u201cRussia, Russia, Russia\u201d was a hoax.\u00a0 It was a total hoax.\u201d<\/p>\n The president urged his supporters to keep fighting the left\u2019s narrative.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Radical Far Left is VICIOUS, they will do or say anything to win,\u201d Trump wrote. \u201cBut they won\u2019t, we will WIN, and have four great years!\u201d:<\/p>\n
