Supreme Court Orders Pennsylvania to Separate Late-Arriving Ballots<\/a>\u00a0–Alito orders that ‘all such ballots, if counted, be counted separately\u2019\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>| 07 Nov 2020 | U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito late Friday ordered Pennsylvania election officials to segregate and separately count ballots that arrived after Election Day.\u00a0Alito granted a request by the state\u2019s Republican party to separate mail-in ballots received between 8 p.m. Nov. 3 and 5 p.m. Nov. 6 from those that arrived by 8p.m. Nov. 3, in accordance with state guidance.\u00a0He\u00a0ordered<\/a>\u00a0that those segregated ballots must be\u00a0kept “in a secure, safe and sealed container separate from other voted ballots.”\u00a0<\/span>The justice, however, did not order the counties to stop counting but instead ordered “all such ballots, if counted, be counted separately.”\u00a0Alito also directed any responses to the application by 2 p.m. Nov. 7.\u00a0The Republican Party of Pennsylvania had filed a\u00a0<\/span>request<\/a>\u00a0earlier on Friday asking the court for an order to log, segregate, and not take any actions over mail-in ballots received after Election Day.<\/span><\/div>\n

The\u00a0New York Times<\/em>, CBS News, and ABC News all reported the development Friday afternoon as the Trump campaign continues to wage legal battles in key battleground states over concerns of voter fraud and inadequate observation of ballot counting in the November 3rd election.<\/span><\/div>\n

NY postal carrier arrested at Canadian border with 800 pieces of mail, including absentee ballots<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0| 06 Nov 2020 | A Western New York postal carrier was been arrested at the Canadian border after allegedly trying to leave the U.S. with more than 800 pieces of mail in his car, including absentee ballots. The Buffalo News reports federal court documents show Brandon Wilson, a U.S. Postal Service employee assigned to the West Seneca post office, was stopped at the Peace Bridge shortly after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities found a bin in his trunk containing mail, including three absentee ballots sent out by the Erie County Board of Elections and 106 political mailings.\u00a0Brendan M. Boone, a special agent for the Postal Service’s\u00a0Office of Inspector General, filed a criminal complaint alleging Wilson admitted stealing mail from his delivery routes and placing it into his car on at least four instances beginning in\u00a0September 2020.<\/span><\/div>\n

GOP Claims Software Error Switched 6,000 Republican Votes to Democratic, Used in 47 Michigan Counties<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0| 06 Nov 2020 | Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and other GOP officials said the fight over the presidential election isn’t over, saying that 47 counties in Michigan may have used software that was detected to have allocated votes to Democrat Joe Biden instead of President Donald Trump in one county. “In Antrim County, ballots were counted for Democrats that were meant for Republicans causing a 6,000-vote swing against our candidates,” Michigan GOP Chairwoman Laura Cox said in a news conference Friday. “The county clerk came forward and said tabulating software glitched and caused a miscalculation of the votes.” Cox added: “Since then, we have now discovered that 47 counties use this same software in the same capacity. Fixed ‘computer glitch’ turns losing Republican into a winner in Oakland County<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0| 06 Nov 2020 | (MI) A ‘computer error’ led election officials in Oakland County to hand an upset victory Wednesday to a Democrat, only to switch the win back to an incumbent Republican a day later. In Oakland County’s 15th County Commission District — representing Rochester and Rochester Hills — the initial count gave a 104-vote margin to the Democrat, Melanie Hartman, amounting to a razor-thin majority of 50.08%. That stunned the incumbent, Adam Kochenderfer, giving him a sure sense that he’d lost in a district long deemed a Republican stronghold. “Apparently, there was a technical glitch in Rochester Hills. And so I actually ended up winning by a little over 1,100 votes,” said a chuckling Kochenderfer. The margin was 1,127 votes, to be exact. That gave him a 51.67% share of the total (with 48.23% going to his opponent, Hartman).<\/span><\/div>\n

Ballot Count Watcher Describes at Least 130,000 Ballots, All for Biden, Arriving in Three Vehicles in Detroit in Dead of Night<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0| 05 Nov 2020 | A woman monitoring the ballot counting in Detroit has asserted that\u00a0at least 130,000 ballots<\/a>, all for Joe Biden, were brought to the center in three vehicles at 4 a.m. In the testimonial, originally posted to Facebook Live, Connie Johnson says that people who were there counting ballots throughout the evening were ready to shut down when suddenly a white van, a Chrysler 300 and a Ferarri, pulled up with over 130,000 additional ballots.<\/span><\/div>\n

Pennsylvania county under scrutiny as judge weighs in on claims ballots were canvassed early, changed – report<\/a>\u00a0–The modified ballots are to be sequestered pending further guidance<\/strong>\u00a0| 03 Nov 2020 | One county in the key swing state of Pennsylvania has already found itself involved in a legal challenge, following claims that it violated the state’s election code by pre-canvassing mail-in ballots prior to Election Day. A federal judge ruled that Montgomery County Board of Election officials need to stop contacting voters who did not submit their ballots correctly, though it is yet to be determined what will happen to ballots that were opened early and changed, as\u00a0reported by the Bucks County Courier Times<\/a>\u00a0on Tuesday. Ballots that were modified must be kept separate from the rest of the group until further notice. The county has been accused of not only starting the pre-canvassing process early — which is against the law — but also giving voters who did not submit their ballots correctly the opportunity to “re-vote,”\u00a0according to the complaint. That includes people who may have forgotten to sign or place their ballot in the “secrecy envelope,” which are necessary steps in order for their votes to be counted.<\/span><\/div>\n

Poll Watchers Denied Entry Into Philadelphia Polling Stations – Trump Campaign<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0| 03 Nov 2020 | Certificated poll watchers have been denied entry into polling locations in\u00a0Philadelphia,\u00a0Pennsylvania, according to Mike Roman, the Trump campaign\u2019s director of Election Day operations.\u00a0In a\u00a0video<\/a>\u00a0posted to Twitter by Will Chamberlain, editor-in-chief of political magazine Human Events, a pair of poll workers appeared to be telling a man that his poll watcher certificate wouldn’t grant him access to the Philadelphia polling place.\u00a0“I have a citywide watcher’s certificate,” the man can be heard saying in the video. In a follow-up post, Chamberlain identified the man as Gary Feldman, whose certificate stated that it “authorizes the individual to watch in any ward\/division in Philadelphia.”\u00a0Despite presenting the certificate, Feldman was told repeatedly that the document “is not for this location.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

USPS Whistleblower in Michigan Claims Higher-Ups Were Engaging in Voter Fraud<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0| 04 Nov 2020 |\u00a0A United States Postal Service worker on Wednesday told Project Veritas that a supervisor named Johnathan Clarke in Traverse City, Michigan — one of the big swing states this election cycle — potentially engaged in voter fraud.\u00a0“We were issued a directive this morning to collect any ballots we find in mailboxes, collection boxes, just outgoing mail in general, separate them at the end of the day so that they could hand stamp them with the previous day’s date,” the whistleblower stated. “Today is November 4th for clarification.”\u00a0Michigan Courts ruled that ballots had to be received by the election clerk before the polls on Election Day, which would mean 8 p.m. eastern time on Tuesday, Nov. 3.\u00a0According to the whistleblower, the ballots are in “express bags” so they could be sent to the USPS distribution center.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

In a rematch of their 2018 House race, Ms. Salazar, a former television journalist, will represent Florida’s 27th Congressional District, which includes Miami and surrounding communities in Miami-Dade County… In April, Speaker Nancy Pelosi appointed Ms. Shalala to a commission overseeing the administration of a 2 trillion economic relief program in response to the pandemic. NC to delay results after extending voting hours at four locations due to technical issues<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0| 03 Nov 2020 | Election results will be delayed almost an hour in the Tar Heel State after the North Carolina State Board of Elections (NCSBE) voted Tuesday to extend hours at four polling locations due to early delays from technical issues. The NCSBE, which oversees more than 2,600 polling sites in the state, moved to extend voting at four locations in three counties by various amounts of time. In North Carolina, polling sites remain open until 7:30 p.m. EST, but with the extensions, the earliest any election results could be released is 8:15 p.m. EST. The Plainview Fire Station polling site in Sampson County saw the longest voting time extension, with the NCSBE giving the site 45 extra minutes, while a second site in the county was given 24 extra minutes.<\/span><\/div>\n

Levin has 1.5 million followers on Facebook and normally has significant reach on anything he posts. He tweeted Monday evening, shortly before the beginning of his nationally syndicated radio show, “Facebook has now placed severe restrictions on my Facebook page on the eve before the election based on an extremely dishonest Politifact review of my link to an accurate story. I will not be intimidated or threatened by Facebook. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones had been looking for a payroll gain of 530,000 and an unemployment rate of 7.7%, a touch lower than the September level of 7.9%. October’s gain was just slightly off the September pace of 672,000.<\/span><\/div>\n

The chief of staff is the latest high-ranking White House official to test positive for the virus. It was not immediately clear when he first tested positive, but he was at Trump campaign headquarters in Arlington, Va., on Tuesday afternoon with dozens of other staffers… Meadows’s diagnosis was first\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0by Bloomberg News, which said that campaign aide Nick Trainer had also tested positive. From there, the storm will strengthen and chart a wobbly course that will take it over Cuba, then by early next week, it could threaten the Florida Peninsula.
