The Michigan Attorney General declared Thursday that President Trump\u2019s efforts to force a recount in the state through the courts are racist.<\/strong><\/p>\n Democrat Dana Nessel bizarrely contended that the lawsuits centre around the notion that black people are to blame for voter fraud.<\/p>\n \u201cReally the themes that we see, that persist, are this: Black people are corrupt, Black people are incompetent and Black people can\u2019t be trusted,\u201d Nessel declared.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s the narrative that is continually espoused by the Trump campaign and their allies in these lawsuits,\u201d the AG claimed, as reported by\u00a0The Detroit Free Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n Nessel\u2019s \u201cproof\u201d to back up her claims is that Trump\u2019s lawsuits are focused on Detroit, rather than outside counties in the state. Because Detroit has more black residents, that somehow makes Trump\u2019s lawsuit racist.<\/p>\n Of course, Detroit is the biggest urban area in the state, so it makes perfect sense that Trump\u2019s suits are focused there, as that\u2019s where the most votes are.<\/p>\n The Detroit Free Press reported this week that Trump has filed a suit in federal court alleging that \u201cthere was enough wrongdoing involved in counting votes in Detroit that a judge should temporarily prevent the certification of election results in the city and throughout the state.\u201d<\/p>\n The suit has over 100 affidavits, according to the report.<\/p>\n Nessel has charged that Trump is \u201cforum shopping,\u201d for courts that will be sympathetic to his challenges.<\/p>\n \u201cIn my view, this is really a brazen case of forum shopping,\u201d Nessel said, adding, \u201cI will add that forum shopping and judge shopping are my least two favorite shopping seasons.\u201d<\/p>\n She proclaimed that if she had tried such a move \u201cthis baseless and this frivolous, I would be sanctioned and I would likely be looking at a loss of licensure.\u201d<\/p>\n Nessel is an avid anti-Trumper, routinely offering deranged\u00a0comparisons of the President to Nazis and Adolf Hitler<\/a>:<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/api.directus.libertycdn.com\/uploads\/_\/originals\/SupportMySponsor-1.jpg\")
