The lockdown took effect yesterday and banned people from leaving their homes unless for emergency medical reasons or to buy food.<\/p>\n Police even confirmed via Twitter that people who walked their dogs outside would be in violation of the law, prompting a huge backlash.<\/p>\n But now,\u00a0as Summit News’ Paul Joseph Watson reports,<\/a>\u00a0just a day later, the lockdown is set to be revoked after authorities admitted that the one person who sparked the decision had lied to contact tracers.<\/p>\n \u201cSouth Australia Premier Steven Marshall announced the explosive finding during a Friday press conference, saying that\u00a0the individual in question purposely misled contact tracers,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0reports\u00a0RT<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThough he told them he had visited a pizza bar linked to a local outbreak only once, he in fact worked at the establishment and had spent several shifts there during the period in question.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n The government has now acknowledged that the man, who was initially blamed for being a \u2018super spreader\u2019, had in fact not been the source of what authorities claimed was a super-infectious strain of the virus.<\/p>\n \u201cTheir story didn\u2019t add up. We pursued them. We now know that they lied,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>said South Australia Premier Steven Marshall.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Maybe authorities should have confirmed the man\u2019s story before announcing their draconian lockdown?
