Trump (@realDonaldTrump) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDonaldTrump\/status\/1215991304448020480?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 11, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">On Friday, Wray submitted his\u00a0reform\u00a0plan to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court\u00a0after a scathing inspector general report found 17 errors in the FBI\u2019s surveillance application of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe FBI has the utmost respect for this [FISA]\u00a0Court, and deeply regrets the errors and omissions identified by the OIG,\u201d Wray wrote, referencing\u00a0the Justice Department\u2019s Office of the Inspector General\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/read-doj-inspector-generals-fisa-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">report released in December.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the rare public court filing, Wray acknowledged the\u00a0report found \u201cconduct that is unacceptable and unrepresentative of the FBI as an institution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump has long accused the FBI and Justice Department of launching an unwarranted, politically motivated probe into his campaign in order to undermine his White House bid.\u00a0He continues to point to anti-Trump text messages from Lisa Page, then an FBI lawyer, and Peter Strzok, the former FBI head of counterintelligence,\u00a0as proof the bureau\u00a0was out to get him.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the errors in the application process, Inspector General Michael E.
