\nNo wonder the evil, statist moron Woodrow Wilson celebrated in one of his books the fact that the \u201cCivil War\u201d resulted in the \u201csupreme\u201d court becoming the sole arbiter of constitutionality in America. No longer would the citizens themselves, organized politically at the state and local levels, have any say whatsoever, even indirectly. From 1865 on, Wilson chortled, everyone\u2019s liberties would be in the hands of five government lawyers with lifetime tenure that isolated them from any negative repercussions from destroying constitutional liberty in America. And that of course is exactly what they have done over the generations.<\/p>\n
In one of his speeches Judge Napolitano asked, \u201cWhatever Happened to the Constitution?\u201d Well, there you have it: It was put into the hands of the \u201csupreme\u201d court as its sole interpreters by the Lincoln Republicans.<\/p>\n
