Factory workers in France have labeled social distancing \u2018dog collars\u2019 as an \u201cattack on individual liberty\u201d as employers are trying to make them wear the devices to enforce restrictions while working.<\/strong><\/p>\n The alarm devices emit a noise and light up if workers get closer than two metres together, but\u00a0have been slammed<\/a>\u00a0by a worker\u2019s union for \u201cinfantilising\u201d employees.<\/p>\n The alarms are scheduled to be introduced by hygiene company Essity, which wants it\u2019s factory workers to wear them around their necks.<\/p>\n The CFDT union told AFP that it is \u201ca system comparable to ones that try to dissuade dogs from barking.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
