As journalist Glenn Greenwald\u00a0recently noted<\/a>, “Sicknick\u2019s death was the only example the media had of the pro-Trump mob deliberately killing anyone<\/strong>,” as the four other people who died that day included Ashli Babbit – who was killed by a police officer, and three other Trump supporters who died, respectively, from a stroke, a heart attack and from being accidentally crushed by the crowd (via\u00a0counterpunch.org<\/em><\/a>).<\/p>\n And now, it appears Sicknick’s own family believes it was a stroke.<\/p>\n “He wasn\u2019t hit on the head no. We think he had a stroke, but we don\u2019t know anything for sure,” 74-year-old Gladys Sicknick told the\u00a0Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n The lack of detail on Sicknick’s death didn’t stop MSM outlets from lying about it to promote the narrative that Trump supporters were involved in a\u00a0deadly<\/em>\u00a0insurrection. As\u00a0Sara Carter<\/em><\/a>\u00a0notes:<\/p>\n On January 8,\u00a0The New York Times<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0that rioters had hit Sicknick in the head with a fire extinguisher\u00a0<\/strong>while citing two law enforcement officers. The newspaper\u00a0ultimately issued a correction<\/strong>\u00a0for the report on February 11\u00a0in a separate piece<\/a>, asserting: \u201cInvestigators have found little evidence to back up the attack with the fire extinguisher as the cause of death, the official said. Instead, they increasingly suspect that a factor was Officer Sicknick being sprayed in the face by some sort of irritant, like mace or bear spray, the law enforcement official said.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the\u00a0Daily Mail<\/em>\u00a0lays out the facts on the ‘fire extinguisher’:<\/p>\n On January 10 when\u00a0video emerged of a rioter hurling a fire extinguisher<\/strong>\u00a0towards law enforcement on the steps of the Capitol it was co-opted into the narrative as evidence of the protesters\u2019 lethal force.<\/em><\/p>\n Four days later, on January 14, retired\u00a0Philadelphia firefighter Robert Sanford, 55, was arrested as the rioter in the video<\/strong>. His charges included assault of a police officer, disorderly conduct, civil disorder and unlawful entry of the Capitol.<\/em><\/p>\n The fire extinguisher he hurled was reported by AP to have \u2018bounced off the heads of three officers, two of whom were wearing helmets.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n None of the charges related to Officer Sicknick and yet the narrative continued to run unchecked with not one leader acknowledging the ongoing investigation or the complete absence of any certainty amid the melee of misreporting<\/strong>.\u00a0-Daily Mail<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/sicknick%201a.jpg?itok=Jki4ylgl\")
