Fans worried over Tiger Woods\u2019 \u2018bloated\u2019 and \u2018zoned out\u2019 TV interview before crash<\/h1>\n

Tiger Woods appeared exhausted on TV the day before\u00a0his serious car wreck<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 fueling fears among his fans worried about his \u201cbloated\u201d and \u201czoned out\u201d appearance.<\/p>\n

Woods had bags under his eyes when he was interviewed by CBS Sports on Sunday at the Genesis Invitational in California.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m feeling fine, I\u2019m feeling fine,\u201d the golf great told host Jim Nantz, who\u2019d asked about his recovery from back surgery \u2014 and potential return to the Masters in April. \u201cA little bit stiff. One more MRI scheduled \u2026 and then I can start doing more activities. But still in the gym, still doing the mundane stuff that you have to do for rehab, you know, the little things before I can start gravitating toward something a little more.\u201d<\/p>\n

But fans were not convinced the PGA legend was doing \u201cfine.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTiger Woods looked absolutely fried in that interview just now,\u201d\u00a0one person tweeted.<\/a>\u00a0\u201cBloated, dull looking face and sounded like he was speaking through a muffler. Honestly reckon this last surgery could be the end for him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another\u00a0noted<\/a>, \u201cTiger seemed messed up during his Sunday interview on CBS.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIs it me or did tiger woods just look completely zoned out during that interview?\u201d another\u00a0commented<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Woods was at the Genesis Invitational to present the trophy to winner Max Homa.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, he suffered serious injuries to his legs \u2014 requiring immediate surgery \u2014 after\u00a0crashing his car on a dangerous stretch of road<\/a>\u00a0in Rancho Palos Verdes.<\/p>\n

Authorities said he was \u201ccalm and lucid\u201d when he was\u00a0pulled from the wreckage<\/a>\u00a0and taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n

He underwent surgery to\u00a0place a rod in his lower right leg<\/a>\u00a0and screws and pins in his foot and ankle \u2014 injuries officials called \u201csignificant.\u201d<\/p>\n
