An elderly Texas woman found herself handcuffed after refusing to leave a\u00a0Galveston<\/a>\u00a0Bank of America branch that requires customers to wear a\u00a0coronavirus<\/a>\u00a0mask inside.<\/p>\n A Galveston police officer arrived at the scene and told the woman, whom\u00a0Fox 26 Houston<\/a>\u00a0later identified as Terry White, the situation.<\/p>\n \u201cMa\u2019am, if they ask you to leave, you have to leave,\u201d the officer says in bodycam video.<\/p>\n \u201cMy money is in this bank, and I\u2019m going to take it out,\u201d she replies.<\/p>\n \u201cWell then you have to abide by their rules,\u201d the officer answered.<\/p>\n Even as Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has lifted a statewide mask mandate, private businesses are still allowed to implement their own mask rules, capacity limits or other safety guidelines.<\/p>\n WATCH:<\/p>\n
