Yet extensive limitations or recommended restrictions remain for vaccinated people,\u00a0from the Center for Disease Control<\/a>\u00a0and many state or local health authorities.<\/p>\n Why? Why are there\u00a0any\u00a0remaining restrictions on vaccinated people if they can\u2019t get infected or spread the virus?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Search for an answer and about all you will find are health authorities saying is that vaccinated people still\u00a0might<\/em>\u00a0become infected and thereby put themselves and others at risk.<\/strong>\u00a0The CDC\u00a0elaborates a bit<\/a>, saying they don\u2019t know for how long vaccination immunity lasts or how well vaccines work against new variants of the virus.<\/p>\n Fair enough, except we also know this from the\u00a0CDC\u00a0<\/a>about those \u201cbreakthrough cases\u201d – when a vaccinated person gets infected:\u00a0Out of 84 million fully vaccinated Americans just 6,000 nevertheless later got infected of which 74 died.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n That means the chances of getting infected once vaccinated have been about seven\u00a0one-thousandths of one percent<\/em>\u00a0and the chances of dying are\u00a0one ten-millionth of one percent.<\/em><\/p>\n In other word\u2019s the risk is so incomprehensibly small you\u2019d need an electron microscope to see it.<\/strong><\/p>\n The biggest obstacle now to loosening restrictions, as health authorities see things, is \u201cvaccine hesitancy\u201d \u2014 getting the unwilling vaccinated. Yet politicians from President Biden on down go out of their way to wear masks and maintain distancing measures even though they they are vaccinated. Biden delivered his address to a half-empty Congress last night like it was of group of suspected lepers \u2014 they were all masked and distanced. That\u2019s senseless given their own claims and data about the vaccine.<\/p>\n It\u2019s as if they are trying to confuse the daylights out of America.<\/strong><\/em><\/u>\u00a0It\u2019s no wonder much of the country thinks its leadership has some ulterior motive for prolonging the restrictions.
