As most of us know, this vaccination procedure is being heavily and, quite frankly, rather brutishly promoted by the Increasingly Senile Uncle Imposter Joe in the White House.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FajJ5MvGYfs?version=3&amp;rel=1&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;fs=1&amp;hl=en-US&amp;autohide=2&amp;wmode=transparent\" width=\"662\" height=\"373\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dated May 28th, but probably rarely seen outside the Epoch Times, the article discusses what happened:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-facebook\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-whistleblower\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">whistleblower<\/a>\u00a0has leaked documents that appear to expose the tech giant\u2019s plans to censor content that show COVID-19 \u201cvaccine hesitancy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Whistleblower\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.givesendgo.com\/ExposeFacebook\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Morgan Kahmann<\/a>, a former data center technician for Facebook, revealed his identity in an interview on Fox News\u2019\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/shows\/tucker-carlson-tonight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cTucker Carlson Tonight<\/a>\u201d after first coming forward to the investigative journalism non-profit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.projectveritas.com\/news\/breaking-facebook-data-technician-morgan-kahmann-goes-on-record-following\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Project Veritas<\/a>\u00a0with the internal documents.<\/p>\n<p>He\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.givesendgo.com\/ExposeFacebook\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">says<\/a>\u00a0the company\u2019s documents detail a plan to curb \u201cvaccine hesitancy\u201d on a global scale.<\/p>\n<p>Kahmann, who\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.givesendgo.com\/ExposeFacebook\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">says<\/a>\u00a0he has since been suspended by the company for coming forward, told Carlson on Thursday night that content that the company deems to show hesitancy toward COVID-19 vaccines are flagged by its algorithms and assigned a \u201cscore\u201d to determine whether it should be removed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnything that questions the vaccine or the narrative regarding the vaccine, which is, you know, everyone should get the vaccine and the vaccine is good and you\u2019re not going to get many bad side effects, anything outside of that realm is basically considered under \u2018vaccine hesitancy\u2019 by Facebook\u2019s algorithms,\u201d Kahmann said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re afraid of what people might conclude if they see that other people are having negative side effects. They think that this is going to drive up vaccine hesitancy among the population and they see that as something that they have to combat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kahmann said that he decided to come forward because he \u201cwouldn\u2019t be able to live with myself\u201d after seeing the documents that outline what appears to be a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-censorship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">censorship<\/a>\u00a0campaign by Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy moral compass says that is not the right thing to do because basically, the users at Facebook are not aware that this is going on, and if you\u2019re using Facebook or a social platform and they\u2019re censoring the content of your comments unbeknownst to you, I think that\u2019s highly immoral,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe that any consequences that are bestowed onto me by Facebook as a result of this leak and these documents that I leaked to Project Veritas\u2014I think that all of these consequences don\u2019t really weigh much when it comes to having to live with myself,\u201d Kahmann said. \u201cI saw these documents and I had the opportunity to, you know, show the public this and what\u2019s going on behind the scenes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In explaining Facebook\u2019s flagging system in greater detail earlier, the suspended Facebook employee told Project Veritas\u2019s James O\u2019Keefe that comments are given a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-vaccine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vaccine<\/a>\u00a0Hesitancy Score\u201d by an algorithm.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFacebook uses classifiers in their algorithms to determine certain content \u2026 they call it \u2018vaccine hesitancy.\u2019 And without the user\u2019s knowledge, they assign a score to these comments that\u2019s called the \u2018VH Score,\u2019 the \u2018Vaccine Hesitancy Score,\u2019\u201d Kahmann told O\u2019Keefe. \u201cAnd then, based on that score, will demote or leave the comment alone depending on the content within the comment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said during his interview with Carlson that he was \u201csuddenly\u201d told to stop working, had his company belongings and access badge taken from him, and was taken to his car. He was told that the company would schedule an \u201cinvestigatory meeting\u201d at some point in the future but said that meeting has since been \u201ccanceled.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Facebook didn\u2019t immediately respond to a request for comment by The Epoch Times.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The last bit of detail here is certainly characteristic of Facebook brutishness in terms of how the company exercises its power. In holding conversations with other Facebook users, the company also employs different types of censorship against different people: I am usually prevented from posting (news articles from\u00a0<em>The Duran<\/em>, mostly) in groups I am not an administrator of. However, I can still post anything on my home page or in groups I run, or in direct messages. Some other people are prevented from posting\u00a0<em>even if<\/em>\u00a0the manage their own groups. Others are not even allowed to post from their home page.<\/p>\n<p>Given that my own efforts are far more successful in penetrating Facebook\u2019s algorithmic protections than others, I would only offer a guess as to why the restrictions differ from person to person: They are intended to discourage dissent and the free exchange of information by creating\u00a0<strong><em>inconsistent<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0levels of \u201cpunishment\u201d to further distract people. This is strategic even in its randomness: During the most repressive days of Communism, for example, the government did not send its bread trucks for every possible dissenter. They hit seemingly at random, with just enough visibility in one abduction to frighten and cow others into fear that they might be next.<\/p>\n<p>It is likely that Facebook is trying to squash unwanted posts through the same sort of crazy randomness.<\/p>\n<p>It works quite well, to our shame.<\/p>\n<p>But it could also be taken apart in about half a second by a group of people united with a purpose. For example, if everyone who saw this news piece posted it in their own page on Facebook and shared it as far as they could go with their friends and groups and so on, the presence of the piece would grow geometrically and force Facebook to a decision gate, so to speak: They would have to choose to let the article exist, or else choose greater visibility to their critics by censoring and deleting\u00a0<em>everyone<\/em>\u00a0who posts it. Some of those people would be vocal about as our whistleblower was with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.projectveritas.com\/news\/breaking-facebook-data-technician-morgan-kahmann-goes-on-record-following\/\">Project Veritas<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>The Epoch Times.\u00a0<\/em>He lost his job with Facebook, but got great visibility through\u00a0<em>The Epoch Times\u2019<\/em>\u00a0piece and a massive support fundraiser netted him nearly half a million dollars and many prayers.<\/p>\n<p>This struggle is about what is right and what is wrong. Facebook is helping \u201cmanage\u201d the news to their own ends.
