Numerous medical associations have signed a statement\u00a0demanding<\/a>\u00a0that health care professionals be forced to take the coronavirus vaccine as a condition of employment. Shortly after the letter was published, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced that they would mandate vaccines for \u201cfront-line workers.\u201d \u00a0If implemented, this mandate would cover\u00a0over 17 million health care, workers.<\/p>\n

The only thing that will stop this \u201cpivot\u201d to coronavirus vaccine mandates will be loud resistance from Americans. Does your doctor belong to any of the signing organizations? Does your doctor agree with forcing people to take the vaccine as a condition of employment?<\/p>\n

Mastermind Ezekiel \u2018Mandate\u2019 Emanuel<\/h5>\n

Spearheaded by Ezekiel Emanuel,\u00a0Obamacare architect, University of Pennsylvania bioethicist, and senior fellow at the radical left,\u00a0Soros-funded\u00a0Center for American Progress, the\u00a0statement<\/a>\u00a0calls for \u201call health care and long-term care employers [to] require their workers to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.\u201d Ezekiel Emanuel is also notably the brother of Rahm Emanuel, Chief of Staff to former President Barack Obama.<\/p>\n

Emanuel is quoted in the Washington Post:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have reached a confluence where health-care workers want vaccine mandates, and government is responding,\u201d said Ezekiel Emanuel, a bioethicist at the University of Pennsylvania who organized the\u00a0joint statement\u00a0from nearly 60 medical groups, including the American Medical Association and the American Nurses Association, urging every health facility to require workers to get vaccinated.<\/p>\n

\u201cI fully expect more health care employers \u2014 health systems, long-term care companies, pharmacies and others \u2014 will mandate their employees get vaccinated,\u201d Emanuel added. \u201cThe nation will be better off for it.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As a bioethicist, Emanuel and his peers are completely disregarding core tenants of biomedical ethics, such as those influenced by the Belmont Report and the Nuremberg Code (see below). Author Wesley J. Smith\u00a0called out\u00a0\u201cEzekiel \u2018Mandate\u2019 Emanuel\u201d in an article at National Review:<\/p>\n

If Ezekiel Emanuel thinks it is wise policy, the country\u2019s preeminent bioethicist generally wants to mandate it. For example, he repeatedly called for mandatory national shutdowns. He has urged that all children be forced to have a flu shot every year. He also advocated that different levels of government impose vaccine mandates. He also believes that doctors should be required to perform abortions when asked, or find an abortionist for the patient if they have a conscientious objection. \u2018Mandate\u2019 should be Emanuel\u2019s middle name.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ezekiel Emanuel has been loudly calling for shutdowns and mandates since the beginning of the pandemic. In a shared OpEd at the\u00a0New York Times<\/a>\u00a0on April 14, 2021, Emanuel wrote in part:<\/p>\n

How can we increase vaccinations? Mandates.<\/p>\n

Vaccines should be required for health care workers and for all students who plan to attend in-person classes this fall \u2014 including younger children once the vaccine is authorized for them by the Food and Drug Administration.<\/p>\n

Employers should also be prepared to make vaccines mandatory for prison guards, E.M.T.s, police officers, firefighters and teachers if overall vaccinations do not reach the level required for herd immunity. Short of a mandate, these workers should be reminded that these vaccines have proved safe and are important not only for their health, but for the health of those they deal with in their jobs.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A Quick Guide to Bioethics<\/h5>\n

The four principles taught to every bioethicist are autonomy, non-maleficence [not harm], beneficence [Act in the best interest of the patient], and justice as detailed in Tom Beauchamp and James Childress\u2019 book \u201cPrinciples of Biomedical Ethics.\u201d These principles were based on the\u00a0Belmont Report<\/a>: Ethical Principles and Guidelines for the Protection of Human Subjects of Research. Bioethics students also learn about the Nuremberg Code.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Nuremberg Code\u00a0is the guiding principle for human experimentation developed in the wake of nazi atrocities. Before the 2020 pandemic, the Nuremberg Code was universally accepted among healthcare workers. The very first sentence of the Nuremberg Code says it plainly: \u201cThe voluntary consent of the human subject is essential.\u201d<\/p>\n

Here is the full text of the Nuremberg Code:<\/p>\n

  1. The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be so situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision.\u00a0This latter element requires that before the acceptance of an affirmative decision by the experimental subject there should be made known to him the nature, duration, and purpose of the experiment; the method and means by which it is to be conducted; all inconveniences and hazards reasonably to be expected; and the effects upon his health or person which may possibly come from his participation in the experiment. The duty and responsibility for ascertaining the quality of the consent rests upon each individual who initiates, directs, or engages in the experiment. It is a personal duty and responsibility which may not be delegated to another with impunity.<\/li>\n
  2. The experiment should be such as to yield fruitful results for the good of society, unprocurable by other methods or means of study, and not random and unnecessary in nature.<\/li>\n
  3. The experiment should be so designed and based on the results of animal experimentation and a knowledge of the natural history of the disease or other problem under study that the anticipated results justify the performance of the experiment.<\/li>\n
  4. The experiment should be so conducted as to avoid all unnecessary physical and mental suffering and injury.<\/li>\n
  5. No experiment should be conducted where there is an a priori reason to believe that death or disabling injury will occur; except, perhaps, in those experiments where the experimental physicians also serve as subjects.<\/li>\n
  6. The degree of risk to be taken should never exceed that determined by the humanitarian importance of the problem to be solved by the experiment.<\/li>\n
  7. Proper preparations should be made and adequate facilities provided to protect the experimental subject against even remote possibilities of injury, disability or death.<\/li>\n
  8. The experiment should be conducted only by scientifically qualified persons. The highest degree of skill and care should be required through all stages of the experiment of those who conduct or engage in the experiment.<\/li>\n
  9. During the course of the experiment the human subject should be at liberty to bring the experiment to an end if he has reached the physical or mental state where continuation of the experiment seems to him to be impossible.<\/li>\n
  10. During the course of the experiment the scientist in charge must be prepared to terminate the experiment at any stage, if he has probable cause to believe, in the exercise of the good faith, superior skill and careful judgment required of him, that a continuation of the experiment is likely to result in injury, disability, or death to the experimental subject.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    Vaccinate ALL Employees<\/h5>\n

    The organizations that signed the statement ultimately want \u201call other employers\u201d to require their employees to get the\u00a0unapproved\u00a0coronavirus vaccine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    \u201cAs the health care community leads the way in requiring vaccines for our employees, we hope all other employers across the country will follow our lead and implement effective policies to encourage vaccination.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    We need to do everything possible to help children, adolescents, and their families safely emerge from the global pandemic,\u201d said\u00a0Gabrielle A. Carlson<\/strong>, MD, President,\u00a0American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry<\/strong>. \u201cIt is imperative that those who can receive a COVID-19 vaccine do so, especially those who work in a healthcare facility where care is provided to the unvaccinated, including vulnerable children\u00a0for whom a COVID-19 vaccine is\u00a0not yet approved<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

    NOT APPROVED, you know it and still demand the vaccination with a kill shot?\u2026how is this even helping?<\/p>\n

    One of the signatories, the American Medical Association (AMA), boasts over 240,000 members. They have lost all credibility by going full-on woke. Serious physicians should take a stand and drop out of this vile organization and any other that signed the statement to force vaccines on healthcare workers.<\/p>\n
