Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden\u2019s presidential campaign released\u00a0a digital ad<\/a>\u00a0Wednesday evening that includes the now-infamous footage of world leaders appearing to mock President\u00a0Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n The ad includes clips of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, French President Emmanuel Macron, and U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson at a reception amid the backdrop of a NATO summit in England, where Mr. Trudeau was caught making an off-the-cuff remark about Mr.\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u2019s lengthy question-and-answer sessions.<\/p>\n It also features a clip of Mr.\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0eliciting laughter from the United Nations when he declared last year that his administration had accomplished \u201cmore than almost any administration in the history of our country.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe world sees\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0for what he is \u2014 insincere, ill-informed, dangerously incompetent, and incapable, in my view, of world leadership,\u201d Mr. Biden says in the ad.<\/p>\n It features still shots of Mr. Biden on the world stage, including a picture of him alongside Mr. Trudeau, who Mr.\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0called \u201ctwo-faced\u201d in response to the hot mic moment, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, with whom Mr.\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0has had an on-and-off relationship.<\/p>\n Mr. Biden, who has slipped in recent polling on some of the early presidential states, is fighting to stay among the top tier of 2020 Democratic presidential contenders.<\/p>\n White House counselor Kellyanne Conway suggested Thursday that the viral moment involving Mr. Trudeau, Mr. Macron, and Mr. Johnson this week was driven by jealousy.<\/p>\n \u201cThey were hardly denouncing the president\u2019s policies. They were hardly denouncing him,\u201d Mrs. Conway said on \u201cFox & Friends.\u201d \u201cWhat was it really about? It was about the fact that President\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0commands a room, and he does, and maybe that makes a couple of people jealous and certainly churlish.\u201d<\/p>\n
