<\/div>\nThe media hype and disinformation campaign regarding the spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus have created a Worldwide atmosphere of fear and uncertainty following the launching of \u00a0a global public health emergency by the WHO on January 30th.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n The fear campaign is ongoing. \u00a0Panic and uncertainty. National governments and the WHO are misleading \u00a0the public.<\/p>\n \u201cAbout 84,000 people in at least 56 countries have been infected, and about 2,900 have died\u201d says the New York Times. What they fail to mention is that 98% of those cases of infection are in Mainland China. There are less than 5000 confirmed cases outside China. (WHO, February 28, 2020)<\/p>\n While COVID-19 is a matter of Public Health concern, at the moment, there is no real pandemic outside Mainland China. Look at the figures.<\/strong><\/p>\n At the time of writing,\u00a0the number of \u00a0\u201cconfirmed cases\u201d in the US was 64.<\/strong><\/p>\n A low number and the media is spreading panic.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, there are\u00a0\u00a015 Million Cases of Influenza in the USA<\/a>.<\/p>\n The latest\u00a0FluView surveillance<\/a>\u00a0from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that as of January 18, 2020, there have been\u00a015 million cases of flu, 140,000 hospitalizations, and 8200 deaths<\/strong>\u00a0in the US this influenza season. (emphasis added)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Data on the COVID-19 pandemic:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The World Health Organization (WHO) reported on February 28, 2020 83,652 confirmed cases of COV-19 of which 78,961 are in Mainland China. Outside China, there are 4691 \u201cconfirmed cases\u201d (WHO, February 28, 2020, See table on right).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The WHO has also reported 2,791 deaths\u00a0of which only 67 have occurred outside\u00a0Mainland\u00a0China<\/strong>.<\/p>\n These figures confirm that the pandemic is largely limited to Mainland China.<\/p>\n Moreover, recent data suggests that the epidemic in China is firmly under control. On February 21, 2020,\u00a0China\u2019s National Health Commission reported that 36.157 patients were designated as cured and discharged from hospital. (see graph below).<\/p>\n Chinese reports confirm that people have received treatment and are recovering from the virus infection.\u00a0Concurrently, the number of infected patients is declining.<\/p>\n According to the National Medical Products Administration of China, hospitals are \u00a0using Favilavir, an anti-viral drug, \u201cas a treatment for coronavirus with minimal side effects\u201d.<\/p>\n .<\/p>\n Lets Crunch the Numbers \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The World Population is of the order of \u00a07.8 billion.<\/p>\n The population of China is of the order of 1.4 billion.<\/p>\n The World population minus China is of the order of 6.4 billion.<\/p>\n 4691 confirmed cases and 67 reported deaths (outside China) out of a population of 6.4 billion does not constitute a pandemic.\u00a04691\/6,4oo,ooo,ooo =0.00000073 = 0.000073 %<\/strong><\/p>\n 64 cases in the US which has a population of approximately 330 million is not a pandemic. (Feb 28 data):\u00a064\/330,000,000 = 0.00000019 = 0.000019 %<\/strong><\/p>\n Why the Propaganda? Racism directed against Ethnic Chinese<\/strong><\/p>\n A \u00a0campaign against China was launched, a wave of racist sentiment against ethnic Chinese is ongoing largely led by the Western media.<\/p>\n The Economist reports<\/a>\u00a0that \u201cThe coronavirus spreads racism against\u2014and among\u2014ethnic Chinese\u201d<\/p>\n Fear of covid-19 makes people behave badly, including some Chinese<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n \u201cBritain\u2019s Chinese community faces racism over coronavirus outbreak\u201d\u00a0according to the SCMP<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cChinese communities overseas are increasingly facing racist abuse and discrimination amid the coronavirus outbreak. Some ethnic Chinese people living in the UK say they experienced growing hostility because of the deadly virus that originated in China.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/header>\n<\/div>\n And this phenomenon is happening all over the U.S.<\/p>\n Economic Warfare against China<\/strong><\/p>\n US strategies consist in using COVID-19 to isolate China, despite the fact that the US economy is heavily dependent upon Chinese imports.<\/p>\n The short-term disruption of the Chinese economy is largely attributable to the (temporary) closing down of the channels of trade and transportation.<\/p>\n The WHO Global Public Health emergency is coupled with media disinformation and the freezing of air travel to China.<\/p>\n Panic on Wall Street\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Spearheaded by media disinformation, there is another dimension.\u00a0Panic in the stock markets.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The Coronavirus fear has triggered the drop of financial markets Worldwide.<\/p>\n According to reports, roughly $6 trillion have been wiped off the value of stock markets Worldwide. The decline in stock market values so far is of the order of \u201c15 percent or more\u201d.<\/p>\n Massive losses of personal savings (e.g. of average Americans) have occurred not to mention corporate failures and bankruptcies.<\/p>\n It\u2019s a bonanza for institutional speculators including corporate hedge funds. The financial meltdown has led to sizeable transfers of money wealth into the pockets of a handful of financial institutions.<\/p>\n In a bitter irony, analysts in chorus have casually linked the market collapse to the escalation of the coronavirus at a time when there was less than 64 confirmed cases in the US.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not surprising that the market went down because \u2026 the virus has gotten so expanded. \u2026 \u2018<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Was it Possible to \u201cPredict\u201d the February Financial Crash? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n It would be naive to believe that the financial crisis was solely the consequence of spontaneous market forces, responding to the COVID-19 outbreak.\u00a0The market was carefully manipulated by powerful actors using speculative instruments in the market for derivatives, including \u201cshort-selling\u201d. \u00a0Media disinformation on the \u201cescalation of the COVID-19 pandemic certainly played a role.<\/p>\n The unspoken objective is the concentration of Wealth.\u00a0It was a financial bonanza for those who had \u201cinside information\u201d or \u201cforeknowledge\u201d leading up to the WHO\u2019s decision to declare a\u00a0Worldwide public emergency on January 30.<\/p>\n Was there Foreknowledge of the COVID-19 (nCoV-2019) Pandemic?
