(Natural News<\/a>) American gun rights groups have warned for years that the very first step ahead of gun confiscation is gun registration because after all, the government has to know what\u2019s \u2018out there\u2019 in private hands before\u00a0it imposes a mandate to turn them in or risk being shot and killed under the guise of \u201cjustice.\u201d<\/p>\n But for just as long, even left-wing presidents like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have shunned any attempt to create gun registration schemes.<\/p>\n That is\u00a0all changing under Joe Biden\u2019s regime<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Marxists who are calling the shots have \u2018convinced\u2019 Biden to join the United Nations global gun registration treaty \u2014 and since it\u2019s a treaty, if it\u2019s ratified by the Senate, that becomes the law of our land, too.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Washington Examiner reported this week<\/a>:<\/p>\n The Biden administration this week signaled that it is eyeing a United Nations small arms treaty that critics claim will lead to an international gun registration plan \u2014 including for individual American gun owners.<\/em><\/p>\n Two years after former President Donald Trump withdrew from it, a top arms diplomat at the State Department told the global body that the current administration is swinging behind the Arms Trade Treaty.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI have come from Washington, D.C., this week to take the floor on the agenda item Treaty Universalization to underscore the continuing commitment of the United States to responsible international\u00a0trade in conventional arms<\/a>,\u201d William Malzahn said at the\u00a07th Conference of States Parties to the Arms Trade Treaty<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe United States has long supported strong and effective national controls on the international transfer of conventional arms, and the Arms Trade Treaty is an important tool [for] promoting those controls internationally,\u201d he added,\u00a0according to a transcript provided to the Washington Examiner\u2019s \u201cSecrets\u201d column\u00a0by the lobbying wing\u00a0of the National Rifle Association.<\/p>\n Mindful that the tyranno-crats running the asylum known as the White House these days won\u2019t simply \u2018go for the gusto\u2019 and implement full-bore registration right away, the NRA went on to note that this will all be done incrementally, the way the left always circumvents\u00a0the Constitution.<\/p>\n \u201cThe NRA has warned that, among many moves, the treaty will require all arms that Americans buy from overseas makers to be tracked. To do that, a global gun registry would be created and maintained for 10 years. Every owner will be listed on that registry,\u201d the Examiner added.<\/p>\n The nation\u2019s oldest gun rights group warned: \u201cThis is the first step towards creating a global firearms registry,\u201d adding, \u201cPresident Biden wants to give foreign bureaucrats control over the rights of law-abiding Americans, and the NRA will fight it every step of the way.\u201d<\/p>\n
