Former Vice President Biden, 78, is asked, \u201cI\u2019m sure that you would agree that your service in the Senate has not reflected any particular concern for the larger contributors.\u201d<\/p>\n
Biden shifts in his seat and says, \u201cWell, the fortunate thing is I didn\u2019t have any large contributors, and the only reason, see, I went to the big guys for the money, I was ready to prostitute myself, in the manner in which I talked about it, but the thing was they said \u2018Come back when you\u2019re 40 son.’\u201d<\/p>\n
Having failed to secure contributions from the \u201cbig guys\u201d \u2013 though not for lack of trying \u2013 Biden says he had to go out and seek contributions from smaller contributors.<\/p>\n

The clip is particularly strange because Biden appears to implying that he would have gladly \u201cprostituted\u201d himself to big donors if his age had not been a disqualifier.<\/p>\n
Biden is now 78 years old, meaning he has been eligible to take money from \u201cthe big guys\u201d for 38 years.<\/p>\n
One of the primary charges leveled against Biden by both left-wing progressives and right-wing conservatives is the accusation that he is a puppet of big business and corporate lobbyists.<\/p>\n
