Alberta lawyer Jeffery Rath has sent a letter to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) demanding every member of the council resign.<\/p>\n
Rath, from the Foothills law firm Rath & Company, was retained by a number of doctors \u201cboth vaccinated and unvaccinated\u201d who have chosen to remain anonymous \u201cgiven the veiled threats contained in recent correspondence directed at physicians in this province by the CPSA Council and the CPSA,\u201d the Monday letter stated.<\/p>\n
In the letter, Rath points to numerous alleged issues his clients believe have amounted to unethical conduct by the CPSA and CPSA council, including:<\/p>\n
The letter also calls into question the term \u201cimmunized\u201d and suggests the term is misleading \u201cgiven the limited protection now provided by the Pfizer\/Moderna injections.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rath also accuses the CPSA of ignoring \u201creal world safety data\u201d and states the \u201cvaccination program being adjusted on the fly underlines the experimental nature of these injections.\u201d<\/p>\n
Referencing violations of the Criminal Code of Canada, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Nuremburg Code, Rath concludes in the letter that \u201cforcing injections on people through vaccine mandates constitutes an \u201cassault\u201d under the Criminal Code\u201d as well as \u201cviolates the CPSA\u2019s own Standards of Practice.\u201d<\/p>\n
The letter goes on to state the banning of Ivermectin for COVID treatment is a \u201cfurther example of the CPSA Council unethically interfering in the provision of medical services to citizens of Alberta by their physicians\u201d and points to a number of studies on the anti-parasite drug.<\/p>\n
The CDC, FDA and Health Canada have not authorized the use of Ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19 at this time.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn this regard, we would respectfully request that every member of the CPSA Council that publicly supports the present coercive injection program of the AHS and who is not willing to take a stand for the individual autonomy and dignity of physicians, nurses, health care workers and citizens of Alberta, immediately resign from the Council of CPSA,\u201d the letter demands.<\/p>\n
In an interview with the Western Standard<\/em>, Rath said those he represents are \u201chorrified\u201d the CPSA would be supporting mandatory vaccination.<\/p>\n \u201cThe college (CPSA) or anyone else has no right to force anyone to be vaccinated against their will.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAHS (Alberta Health Services) doesn\u2019t want to acknowledge that those in the hospitals and those that are dying are the ones who are typically in hospitals and dying. The aged and those with comorbidities.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe only true emergency here is that we will soon have fewer and fewer nurses and doctors because they are leaving in droves due to these vaccine mandates,\u201d Rath said.<\/p>\n Rath said he and his clients will wait for a response from the College before they determine their next step.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Screen-Shot-2021-10-07-at-6.17.51-PM.png\")
