Monday Schadenfreude: Chesa Boudin gets religion on shoplifting<\/strong><\/h1>\n

There’s nothing like a smarmy, smug leftist who’s\u00a0realized\u00a0he’s cooked his own goose.<\/p>\n

That brings us to the case of Chesa Boudin, the district attorney of San Francisco, who’s effectively legalized shoplifting in the name of “criminal\u00a0justice reform.”\u00a0\u00a0He’s prompted\u00a0massive store closures with\u00a0ugly videos of broad-daylight robberies on large\u00a0and small\u00a0stores.\u00a0\u00a0Boudin’s refusal to prosecute has\u00a0turned San Francisco\u00a0into another socialist crime pit,\u00a0Caracas.\u00a0\u00a0And now, like his mentor Hugo Ch\u00e1vez, he’s facing a voter recall.<\/p>\n

This seems to be concentrating his mind, given that he’s suddenly changing his tune \u2014 and comically enough, fooling no one.<\/p>\n
