Responding to Anthony Fauci again declaring that he represents science, Senators Ted Cruz and Rand Paul blasted the \u201chubris\u201d of \u201d an unelected technocrat,\u201d warning that he has \u201cdistorted science\u201d in order to exert \u201cauthoritarian control.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fauci appeared on CBS News\u2019\u00a0Face The Nation<\/em>, and declared that \u201cAnybody who spins lies and threatens and all that theater that goes on with some of the investigations and the congressional committees and the Rand Pauls and all that other nonsense, that\u2019s noise.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further claimed \u201cif you\u2019re attacking me, you\u2019re really attacking science,\u201d adding \u201cI mean, everybody knows that.\u201d<\/p>\n

It isn\u2019t the first time that Fauci has essentially\u00a0declared that he IS science<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Responding directly to Cruz suggesting Fauci needs to be prosecuted, the latter proclaimed \u201cI have to laugh at that. I should be prosecuted? What happened on Jan. 6, senator?\u201d<\/p>\n
