While the former option can maintain a semblance of economic and financial stability, an eventual day of reckoning cannot be avoided.<\/p>\n

What can\u2019t go on forever, won\u2019t.<\/p>\n

As the saying goes, you can pay now or later.<\/p>\n

By far, the US is the biggest debtor nation in world history \u2014 with over an almost incomprehensible $30 trillion debt burden.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the main driver of inflation by far.<\/p>\n

The larger the debt grows from continued money printing madness, the more pressure exerted in inflation to keep rising.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s higher today than at any previous time in the past 75 years \u2014 and rising.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe US government is incentivized to continue creating ever-increasing amounts of inflation,\u201d Giambruno explained.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s good news for markets temporarily, bad news for the dollar, and devastating news for the vast majority of Americans.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re increasingly hard-pressed to make ends meet with costs of goods and services way exceeding increases in income.<\/p>\n

While push will eventually shove Fed policymakers to change course, \u201c(i)n the long run we are all dead,\u201d economist John Maynard Keynes once observed.<\/p>\n

When tightening replaces money printing madness \u2014 or sooner \u2014 way-overvalued stock prices are highly likely come tumbling down with a thud of historic proportions.<\/p>\n

Their current level is unsustainable.<\/p>\n

Whenever valuations have gotten anywhere near today\u2019s level, the bubble always burst.<\/p>\n

This time won\u2019t be different, notably because of historically high over-valuations.<\/p>\n

Saying \u201cwe\u2019ve already made progress since\u2026March\u201d is belied by cold, hard reality.<\/p>\n

Based on how US inflation was calculated pre-1990, it rose year-over-year from 16.05 \u2013 17.15% in the latest monthly reporting period.<\/p>\n

On April 12, economist John Williams stressed the following:<\/p>\n

\u201cYear-to-year inflation continued to surge (in) March\u2026hitting new multi-decades high, circumstances in place before\u201d what\u2019s happening in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

They were \u201cexacerbated by same\u201d because of unparalleled US\/Western sanctions war on Russia.<\/p>\n

Their policymakers literally shot themselves in the foot by the blowback cost to their economies because of harebrained actions taken.<\/p>\n

Bad as things are now, they\u2019re likely to worsen ahead as greater US\/Western toughness is likely to be exerted on Russia \u2014 no matter how hard it hits ordinary people throughout the West.<\/p>\n

Pretense otherwise by the White House imposter, other regime officials, their Western counterparts and MSM echo chamber won\u2019t lessen increasing hardships on most people in their countries and elsewhere.<\/p>\n
