In this paradigm, the government continuously consolidates and redoubles its power and social control using real or drummed-up security threats.<\/p>\n<p>It gets as much mileage as possible out of one emergency before introducing another emergency to justify even greater expansions of its power and social control. The process then repeats ad infinitum.<\/p>\n<p>None of the newly acquired powers are ever rolled back once the \u201cemergency\u201d that justified their initial creation subsides. Rather, they accrue over time, transforming from \u201ctemporary\u201d measures to permanent ones by default.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The corporate state continuously invents new justifications for the existence and expansion of its power<\/strong>. It uses new powers and new funding schemes to generate the next threat in a self-perpetuating loop.<\/p>\n<p>One emergency fuels the next. Via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/news\/2022\/03\/the-virus-hunting-nonprofit-at-the-center-of-the-lab-leak-controversy\">Vanity Fair<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201c<strong><u>The bioterror attacks of 2001<\/u><\/strong>, in which letters dusted with anthrax spores were sent through the U.S. mail, <strong><u>coupled with the first SARS coronavirus outbreak in China<\/u> <\/strong>the following year, would <strong><u>bring money for the study of lethal natural pathogens pouring into federal agencies<\/u><\/strong>. In 2003, the NIAID got an eye-popping $1.7 billion for research to defend against bioterrorism.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>They leveraged the public\u2019s post-9\/11 anxieties over Islamic terror \u2013 fueled in large part by 24\/7 corporate media fearmongering \u2013 into billions of dollars in \u201cbioterror\u201d research.<\/p>\n<p>Fauci, in turn, as we now know, funneled that NIAID government money into gain-of-function research (and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/all-articles\/news-analysis\/join-the-unrig-petition-to-investigate-prosecute-anthony-fauci-for-apparent-perjury-to-congress\/\">perjured himself to Congress over it<\/a>, a demonstrable crime he has yet to be punished for), which likely resulted in the next major terror campaign of our lifetime: COVID-19.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Terror attack \u2014\u2013&gt;<\/li>\n<li>Biomedical state gets funding to fight \u201cbioterror\u201d \u2014\u2014&gt;<\/li>\n<li>Biomedical state uses awarded funding to engineer next bioterror attack \u2014\u2013&gt;<\/li>\n<li>Biomedical state gets more funding \u2014\u2014\u2014\u2013&gt;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And so on, forever. Until someone or something stops the cycle. In the meantime, the bureaucracies \u2013 CDC, NIH, FBI, Homeland Security, et al \u2013 balloon continuously.<\/p>\n<p>The pandemic birthed whole new unprecedented power grabs by the state and the seizure of more civil liberties. The public got incrementally more fearful, less assertive, and more sheep-like.<\/p>\n<p>One abuse of power facilitates and births another, and the gravy train runs full steam ahead \u2014 more private-public \u201cresearch\u201d partnerships, more national security agencies, more intelligence funding, more surveillance, and more crackdowns on civil liberties.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-34427\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/00-3-300x177.png\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 381px) 100vw, 381px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/00-3-300x177.png 300w, https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/00-3.png 822w\" alt=\"\" width=\"381\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Follow the money, follow the social control, follow the motive<\/h2>\n<p>There is good reason, of course, why prosecutors in criminal cases love to have a motive \u2013 it lends credibility to the theory of the crime.<\/p>\n<p>Groups of people, like individuals, do things for reasons \u2014 personal and group gain being chief among them.<\/p>\n<p>Somehow, though, in the context of traumatic large-scale catastrophes, the public is rhetorically forbidden from inquiring into motive. The corporate media establishes the official narrative and any deviations are labeled \u201cconspiracy theories\u201d and summarily dismissed.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate media then warns the peasants to \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/startswithabang\/2020\/07\/30\/you-must-not-do-your-own-research-when-it-comes-to-science\/\">not do their own research<\/a>\u201d that might contradict the official story.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-34426\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/000-1-300x174.png\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 353px) 100vw, 353px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/000-1-300x174.png 300w, https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/000-1.png 489w\" alt=\"\" width=\"353\" height=\"205\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Noam Chomsky describes the narrative-engineering phenomenon as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.openculture.com\/2017\/03\/an-animated-introduction-to-noam-chomskys-manufacturing-consent.html\">manufacturing consent<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The single, most obvious forbidden question: <em>Cui bono<\/em>? Who benefits?<\/p>\n<p>The biomedical national security state has expanded its tentacles far and wide. We recently debunked the corporate media\u2019s gaslighting denial of the existence of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/all-articles\/news-analysis\/the-next-big-bioweapon-may-emerge-from-us-controlled-labs-in-ukraine\/\">biolabs in Ukraine studying weaponized pathogens<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-34425\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/00000-2-300x215.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 374px) 100vw, 374px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/00000-2-300x215.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/00000-2-1024x733.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/00000-2.jpg 1280w\" alt=\"\" width=\"374\" height=\"268\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Relevant questions emerge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What would the outcome be if the engineered pathogens currently kept in various Ukrainian biolabs leaked into circulation, and potentially triggered another global pandemic or other catastrophic fallout?<\/li>\n<li>To make sure such a catastrophe never occurred again, would the biomedical state demand less funding to combat \u201cbioterrorism,\u201d or more?<\/li>\n<li>Would the propagandized NPC public clamor for more medical research to \u201cprevent\u201d pandemics (i.e., the ostensible purpose of gain of function research), or less?<\/li>\n<li>Would Merck or Pfizer\u2019s stock go up, or down?
