It will no longer be possible to buy, sell, transfer, or import handguns anywhere in Canada.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Justin Trudeau \u2013 2022<\/strong> It is often said that \u201cwe never learn from history\u201d but this cannot be said when it comes to the issue of gun control.<\/strong>\u00a0Perhaps it is more accurate to suggest that we do learn from history, but that our politicians simply refuse to apply its lessons in a way that is beneficial to the general welfare.<\/p>\n We have long known that the road to tyranny always starts with the disarming of the general population, so, clearly, that lesson has been learned:\u00a0\u201cThe one thing that unites every tyrant is that they all love gun control,\u201d observed criminal attorney and outspoken political commentator Robert Barnes.<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter whether they\u2019re Hitler, Stalin, Mao, any of them \u2013 they all love gun control.\u201d<\/p>\n Politicians who insist that gun control makes the public at large safer are spreading false information,<\/strong>\u00a0because the opposite is true and history demonstrates this as well.<\/span><\/p>\n However, disarming citizens of their weapons is but one step in that agenda.\u00a0Propaganda, censorship, and other speech restrictions are necessary to disarm the people<\/strong>\u00a0in more fundamental ways.<\/p>\n Tyrants know that<\/strong>\u00a0once the public has been disarmed morally, disarmed intellectually, disarmed spiritually, and disarmed physically, any attempt to put the lessons of history to practical use is practically useless.\u00a0Having abandoned reason and reality, no rational application of history\u2019s lessons is possible.<\/strong>\u00a0It is only a return to these values that will properly address any issues politicians claim can be solved by gun control.<\/p>\n The events of history are complex; the principles that drive them are not.\u00a0The gun control narrative is a fascist fallacy<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 of the fascists, by the fascists and for the fascists. The history lesson to be learned is that when tyrants say \u201cgun control works,\u201d from their point of view they\u2019re Just Right.<\/p>\n
