In the before-times, \u201cbaby formula\u201d was called \u201cbreast milk.\u201d In a better world, actually nutritious \u201cbaby formula\u201d would also be possible to synthesize artificially.)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-34480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/0-3-300x225.png\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/0-3-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/0-3.png 635w\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Yes, some women have legitimate medical reasons (not sociocultural ones, which are far more likely and which we\u2019ll discuss here) that prevent them from breastfeeding. They need food desperately, and now can\u2019t get it. No one should minimize that, or victim-blame.<\/p>\n<p>And, yes, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/all-articles\/news-analysis\/covid-propaganda-roundup-the-planned-supply-line-demolition-its-the-feature-not-the-bug\/\">supply-chain disruptions induced by draconian COVID lockdowns<\/a> \u2014 ironically and sadistically marketed as \u201cPublic Health\u00a9\u201d measures \u2014 partially triggered the discrepancy in supply and demand. So did a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/business\/2022\/05\/14\/baby-formula-shortage-sturgis\/\">shutdown of one of only a handful of formula-producing US factories<\/a> by the FDA because they were allegedly producing toxic baby feed.<\/p>\n<p>All granted.<\/p>\n<p>But those factors alone don\u2019t tell the whole story.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2013<\/p>\n<p>In her teary farewell performance, outgoing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/all-articles\/news-analysis\/jen-psaki-passes-swamp-megaphone-to-admitted-diversity-hire-haitian-immigrant-lesbian-person-of-color\/\">WH Spokescreature Jen Psaki<\/a> talked as little as possible about the inability of Americans to feed their children with the GMO puree they depend on. In a sane world, with a functional government, making sure babies don\u2019t starve to death would be priority #1 for the <em>executive<\/em> branch.<\/p>\n<p>The ostensible purpose of the <em>executive<\/em> branch is to <em>execute<\/em> effective public policy. In other words, to set the necessary conditions that allow for material subsistence.<\/p>\n<p>Psaki, though, preferred to deliver an Oscars-style speech <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/press-briefings\/2022\/05\/13\/press-briefing-by-press-secretary-jen-psaki-may-13-2022\/\">thanking her sponsors for her position<\/a>, and her new, even more lucrative position on MSNBC:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cYou know, this is my last briefing\u2026 And I wanted to start with a series of thank yous.\u00a0And I promised myself I wasn\u2019t going to get emotional.\u00a0Whew.\u00a0Okay.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"'Thank you': White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki says goodbye\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Q5svbJy9zMo?feature=oembed\" width=\"550\" height=\"309\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Mothers in America can\u2019t buy basic materials to feed their children and this shameless narcissist has the gall to take time out of her official briefing to congratulate herself on her \u201cintegrity\u201d and \u201ccivility.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When pressed gently on the baby formula crisis, Psaki offered a novel solution. Americans don\u2019t actually need more baby food \u2013 they need to get it rationed to limit the filthy eaters from grubbing up too much sustenance:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cAs it relates to baby formula, what we know is that we are certainly seeing, and we have seen, hoarding happen\u2026 That\u2019s an issue where <\/em><strong><em>if there\u2019s caps \u2014 and this is something we have been working to institute \u2014 on the number of containers that can be purchased, that will help<\/em><\/strong><em>.\u201d<\/em><em><br \/>\n<\/em>-WH Press Secretary Jen Psaki, May 13, 2022<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We\u2019ve reached literal Hunger Games-tier Kabuki Theater.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<p>How did this happen? As previously acknowledged, the two immediate and most obvious causal effects are supply chain breakdown and a Michigan factory \u2013 reliant, by the way, on trans-Pacific Chinese GMO agri-slop to operate \u2014 turning off the spigot.<\/p>\n<p>But that\u2019s a short-sighted assessment.<\/p>\n<p>Third-wave corporate \u201cintersectional\u201d feminism contributes to millions of American mothers\u2019 dependency on \u201cbaby formula.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Feminism <em>per se<\/em> doesn\u2019t have to be as toxic as its current manifestation.<\/p>\n<p>Women should probably be allowed to vote if voting is how public decisions get made. Done. That was the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenshistory.org\/exhibits\/feminism-first-wave-0#:~:text=However%2C%20first%20wave%20feminists%20had,vote%20due%20to%20racial%20discrimination.\">First Wave<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And, okay, women should be able to work productively for decent pay without worrying about their bosses getting handsy with them. Sure. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/topic\/feminism\/The-second-wave-of-feminism\">That, in a nutshell, was the Second Wave<\/a>. Now employers have to pay women commensurately with men and they can\u2019t fondle them next to the water cooler. Those are positive developments.<\/p>\n<p>In these regards, Western institutions have done more to accommodate the desires of women for greater social power than any civilization in history.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014-<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the \u201cSocial Progress\u00a9\u201d didn\u2019t stop there.<\/p>\n<p>The corporate-sponsored Third Wave is not about equal rights for women. Its sole agenda, under the guise of \u201chuman rights,\u201d is destroying the same Western society that nurtured earlier versions of the feminism movement. And not just annihilating Western society \u2013 but the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/all-articles\/news-analysis\/chile-bans-discrimination-against-mutants-and-genetically-altered-people\/\">essence of human biology itself<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Having a stable family is branded as something dirty, and harmful.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-34479\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/00-5-300x73.png\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/00-5-300x73.png 300w, https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/00-5.png 620w\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"73\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Childlessness, or dereliction of maternal duties, in contrast, is marketed as liberating and ultra-trendy. The model of virtue for women of the Western world is now intersectional Rosie the Riveter, jackhammering the Patriarchy into submission.<\/p>\n<p>Careerism is celebrated and motherhood is denigrated.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-34478\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/000-3-300x105.png\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/000-3-300x105.png 300w, https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/000-3.png 971w\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"105\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-34477\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/0000-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"197\" height=\"256\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As a consequence, fully <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/breastfeeding\/data\/reportcard.htm#:~:text=Although%20most%20infants%20born%20in,among%20infants%20born%20in%202016.\">one-fifth of American newborns get fed \u201cformula\u201d straightaway<\/a>. Almost half are on \u201cformula\u201d after six months. That\u2019s not accommodation for women with a medical or rare logistical issue who can\u2019t breastfeed \u2013 that\u2019s a social trend, a lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<p>Cheerleading single parenthood \u2014 with mothers working dead-end near-minimum-wage jobs while the baby is God-knows-where in the back of some dank government care facility learning about preferred pronouns and sucking down Chinese GMO corn feed \u2014 doesn\u2019t make women happier or more fulfilled.<\/p>\n<p>All it does is further destabilize the foundational social structure of the West, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/millennials-mental-health-burnout-lonely-depressed-money-stress\">drive intergenerational increases in mental illness<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unicef.org\/press-releases\/more-half-parents-and-pregnant-women-exposed-aggressive-formula-milk-marketing\">bankroll the $55 billion \u201cbaby formula\u201d industry<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2013<\/p>\n<p>This baby formula thing didn\u2019t have to become a national crisis.
