In stark contrast to hegemon USA\u2019s rage to dominate other nations by intimidation and brute force, Russia\u2019s annual St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) represents how multi-world polarity is replacing US\/Western unipolar decadence and depravity.<\/p>\n

First held in 1997, SPIEF is Russia\u2019s most important annual economic forum.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s where heads of state and senior officials from scores of nations, along with business executives, meet to discuss cutting-edge economic issues and challenges of the times.<\/p>\n

The event is worlds apart different from how the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland plots ways to exploit nations and ordinary people worldwide to serve predatory Western interests.<\/p>\n

Key government, business and other figures from 127 nations (two-thirds of the world total) are attending this year\u2019s SPIEF \u2014 the event and their presence sending a powerful message to the empire of lies and its Western vassals.<\/p>\n

Russia\u2019s upper house Federation Council Speaker, Valentina Matviyenko, explained it, saying:<\/p>\n

SPIEF (from June 15 \u2013 18) \u201cshow(ed) that those who imposed sanctions and who exerted pressure must be disappointed,\u201d adding:<\/p>\n

The plot by hegemon USA and its Western vassals to \u201cisolat(e) (Russia) has not worked.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can see a growing interest of Asian, African and Latin American countries in developing and expanding cooperation with\u201d the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n

SPIEF is \u201can opportunity to demonstrate a new model of Russia\u2019s openness\u201d and cooperative relations with the world community of nations.<\/p>\n

\u201cNew Opportunities in a New World\u201d is this year\u2019s underlying theme \u2014 in contrast to forever war on humanity by the US-dominated West.<\/p>\n

Addressing over 10,000 attendees at this year\u2019s forum on Saturday, Vladimir Putin stressed the following:<\/p>\n

Unlike nations and attendees at SPIEF, US\/Western regimes pursue diabolical interests \u201cfor the sake of their ambitions and in order to preserve obsolete geopolitical illusions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c(A) unipolar world order has come to an end\u2026despite all the attempts to maintain and preserve it at all costs.\u201d<\/p>\n

At WW II\u2019s end in 1945, hegemon USA \u201cproclaimed itself to be God\u2019s messenger on earth, without any obligations and only interests which were declared sacred.\u201d<\/p>\n

Decades later, the empire of lies and its Western vassals still harbor \u201cillusions\u2026clinging to shadows of the past\u201d \u2014 blind to today\u2019s reality.<\/p>\n

\u201c(P)owerful centers formed\u201d worldwide.<\/p>\n

They \u201cdevelop(ed) their own political system and public institutions, implement(ed) their own models of economic growth\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

They \u201cha(ve) the right to protect themselves, to ensure national sovereignty.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are talking about real processes, about truly revolutionary, tectonic changes in geopolitics, global economy, the technological sphere, in the entire system of international relations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yet US\/Western regimes treat other nations \u201clike colonies\u201d and their people like serfs.<\/p>\n

They \u201cpunish (and) economically crush\u201d nations unwilling to sacrifice their sovereign rights to a higher power in Washington \u2014 with satellites in London, Paris, Berlin, Tel Aviv and elsewhere.<\/p>\n

They wage forever wars on invented enemies by hot and\/or other means.<\/p>\n

Their harebrained plot to \u201cviolently crush the Russian economy, to hit (its) industry, finance, and people\u2019s living standards by destroying business chains, forcibly recalling Western companies from the (its) market, and freezing (its) assets\u2026did not work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Russia is largely self-sufficient and doesn\u2019t need the decadent, depraved West.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no ambiguity about how its ruling authorities \u201cnormali(zed) (and) stabili(ed) (Russia\u2019s) econom(y) (and) financial markets.\u201d<\/p>\n

Western forecasts of a collapsing Russian economy and ruble never \u201cmaterialized\u201d for good reason.<\/p>\n

The Russian Federation prepared years in advance to effectively counter US\/Western war on the nation and its people by sanctions and other dirty tricks.<\/p>\n

Russia\u2019s 2022 federal budget through May has a 1.5 trillion ruble surplus, Putin explained \u2014 a 3.3 trillion surplus for its consolidated budget.<\/p>\n

Made-in-the-USA \u201cblitzkrieg against Russia was doomed to fail\u201d straightaway.<\/p>\n

Sanctions by the empire of lies and its Western vassals on Russia largely shot blanks.<\/p>\n

They boomeranged by sanctioning their own economies and people.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s evident from deepening economic, financial and social decay in the West \u2014 from soaring inflation, disrupted supply chains, as well as shortages of food and other essential goods.<\/p>\n

Decadent European societies lost their \u201cpolitical sovereignty\u201d to a higher\/exploitive power in Washington.<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s economic and financial reality throughout the West and elsewhere has nothing to do with Russia\u2019s liberating SMO in Ukraine and Donbass.<\/p>\n

Falsely claiming otherwise by the fake\/detached from reality Biden, the empire of lies overall, subservient Western regimes and puppet Zelensky represents a \u201cdeliberate distortion of the facts\u201d to bash Russia for the made-in-the-USA\/West mess \u2014 by money printing madness and sanctions war.<\/p>\n

\u201c(W)hat does our (SMO) have to do with this? Nothing whatsoever,\u201d Putin stressed.<\/p>\n

Hegemon USA and its UK\/EU vassals bear full responsibility for what their regimes call \u201cPutin inflation\u201d in the West.<\/p>\n

Everyone paying attention and \u201cliterate enough to read\u201d knows the reality of what\u2019s going on.<\/p>\n

For time immemorial, US\/Western regimes falsely blamed invented enemies like Russia, China, Iran and other nations for their own failed policies and criminality.<\/p>\n

The world today is undergoing major change, Putin stressed, adding:<\/p>\n

\u201cInternational institutions are breaking down and faltering.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSecurity guarantees are being devalued.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe West\u2026refus(ed) to honor its earlier commitments.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s \u201cimpossible to reach new agreements with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Nazi-infested Ukraine, the US\/West doesn\u2019t give a damn about its people \u2014 only its territory for use as a platform for proxy hot war on Russia.<\/p>\n

Liberating goals of Russia\u2019s SMO in Ukraine will be accomplished, Putin stressed.<\/p>\n

Russia\u2019s security will be protected and Donbass liberated entirely from the scourge of Nazified occupation.<\/p>\n

Putin minced no words in explaining Russia\u2019s good faith outreach for peace, equity, justice and cooperative relations with other nations.<\/p>\n

Its worldview and way are in stark contrast to US\/Western-sought dominance through the barrel of a gun, exploitation and other dirty tricks \u2014 to benefit their privileged few at the expense of most others worldwide and peace.<\/p>\n
