The soldiers received $800,000 for the HIMARS and $330,000 for the rockets. Some of the rockets have a range of 300 kilometers (186.4 miles). The warhead can have as much as a 120 Kg (245.56 pound) payload. Sanctions made it impossible for Vladimir Putin to buy one from Lockheed Martin for $5.6 million.
