It is not actually one of ours,\u201d wrote Clarke E. Humphrey, digital director for the Biden administration\u2019s COVID-19 response team in an email time-stamped\u00a01:24 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Humphrey didn\u2019t have to wait long for a reply.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYep, on it!\u201d replied the recipient, whose name is redacted on the released email. The Department of Justice has already turned over communications between a number of federal officials and social media companies, but has so far refused to provide communications from high-level government officials.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe won in court in July, and the Court required the Biden Administration to turn over communications between federal officials and social media companies,\u201d Schmitt said in a statement.\u00a0\u201cWe have already received a number of documents that clearly prove that the federal government has an incestuous relationship with social media companies and clearly coordinate to censor freedom of speech, but we\u2019re not done,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Although social media companies are not part of the government and cannot be charged with violating the First Amendment,\u00a0Schmitt and Landry believe that if they can show the platforms censored certain opinions, statements and beliefs at the direction of the government, it would constitute a \u201ccensorship enterprise\u201d in violation of federal law.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMeta, for example, has disclosed that at least 32 federal officials\u2014including senior officials at the FDA, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, and the White House\u2014have communicated with Meta about content moderation on its platforms, many of whom were not disclosed in response to Plaintiffs\u2019 interrogatories to Defendants,\u201d Schmitt and Landry said in a joint statement. \u201cYouTube disclosed eleven federal officials engaged in such communications, including officials at the Census Bureau and the White House, many of whom were also not disclosed by Defendants.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The censorship enterprise \u201crises to the highest levels of the U.S. Government, including numerous White House officials,\u201d Schmitt and Landry said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>___<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/white-house-asked-meta-to-remove-fauci-parody-account-meta-responded-in-less-than-60-seconds\">https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/white-house-asked-meta-to-remove-fauci-parody-account-meta-responded-in-less-than-60-seconds<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>White House Asked Meta To Remove Fauci Parody Account.
