Fauci “Misled Congress” About Gain-Of-Function Research, But ‘Protected By Biden Admin’; Former CDC Chief Says<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Just last week<\/a>, Senator Rand Paul appeared on Fox News and slammed Anthony Fauci for taking the default position of trying to \u201ccover up\u201d his activities, including potentially encouraging social media companies to censor medical information.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that\u00a0all of America should be appalled that America\u2019s doctor, the leading expert on COVID in public health, doesn\u2019t want to divulge information<\/strong>, doesn\u2019t want to divulge his communications with Big Tech,\u201d Paul urged, adding that Fauci\u2019s \u201cmodus operandi\u201d is to \u201ccover up\u201d.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A month before that,<\/a>\u00a0Senator Paul spoke after first ever Senate hearing on gain of function research, having revealed that there is a committee that is supposed to oversee such experimentation with potentially lethal viruses, but that it is above the oversight of Congress.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t know the names.\u00a0We don\u2019t know that they ever meet,\u00a0and we don\u2019t have any records of their\u00a0meetings,\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0the Senator reiterated,\u00a0adding\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s top-secret.\u00a0Congress is not allowed to know.\u00a0So whether the committee actually\u00a0exists, we\u2019re uncertain.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWe do know that they\u2019ve met\u00a0three times and there are thousands of\u00a0gain-of-function research proposals. They\u2019ve only met three times,\u00a0they\u2019ve only reviewed three projects,\u201d Paul continued.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Senator added that\u00a0\u201cWhen Dr. Fauci said, \u2018Oh, we\u2019ve reviewed this and the experts have looked at this, and said it\u2019s not gain-of-function,\u2019\u00a0even that wasn\u2019t true.\u00a0<\/strong>There was a committee that was\u00a0formed after 2017 to look at\u00a0this dangerous research.\u00a0They didn\u2019t look at this\u00a0research at all because they\u00a0never reviewed it.\u00a0So no one reviewed this to say\u00a0it wasn\u2019t gain-of-function\u00a0research.\u00a0They didn\u2019t review it, period.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo we learned a lot of things,\u00a0but I think we reconfirmed that\u00a0Dr. Fauci is not being honest\u00a0with us,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>Paul urged, adding\u00a0\u201cYes, the\u00a0NIH\u00a0funded gain-of-function\u00a0research<\/a>.\u00a0Yes, it was dangerous.\u00a0And yes, nobody looked over\u00a0this.\u00a0Nobody reviewed the research. Yes,\u00a0a million people died. And there still seems to be a\u00a0significant lack of curiosity on\u00a0the part of Democrats.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Of course, Fauci shrugged this off as just more ‘vast-right-wing-conspiracy-theory’ or some-such.<\/p>\n

But, Dr. Fauci has a problem now…\u00a0Just The News’ Greg Piper reports<\/a>\u00a0that the former Center for Disease Control and Prevention director who was cast as a conspiracy theorist for saying the evidence supported the lab-leak explanation for COVID-19 \u2013 allegedly provoking death threats \u2013\u00a0claims that the real “conspiracy is Collins, Fauci, and the established scientific community.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Robert Redfield told former Senate Finance Committee investigator Paul Thacker<\/a>\u00a0that National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony\u00a0Fauci “knew” he funded gain-of-function research that makes viruses more dangerous, and “misled Congress” when he denied it.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rand Paul was right after all… and it wasn’t a vast right wing conspiracy? Shock horror!<\/p>\n

“Everyone had to agree to the narrative” pushed by Fauci\u00a0<\/strong>and then-National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins that SARS-CoV-2 emerged from a “wet market” in Wuhan, not the Fauci-funded Wuhan Institute of Virology miles away, to avoid becoming a public target of the two officials, he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Redfield said he believes\u00a0The Lancet spring 2020 letter<\/a>\u00a0that lumped in the lab-leak hypothesis with “conspiracy theories” was “orchestrated … under direction of Fauci and Collins,\u00a0<\/strong>trying to nip any attempt to have an honest investigation of the pandemic\u2019s origin.”<\/p>\n

“There was nothing scientific about that letter. It was just an attempt to intimidate people,”\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>he also said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“I was threatened, my life was threatened,” he said.<\/p>\n

“I have letters I got from prominent scientists, that previously gave me awards, telling me that the best thing I could do for the world was to shoot myself because of what I said.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He believes that “Fauci and Collins were behind a lot of” the conspiracy and “anti-Asian hate” claims about the lab-leak theory<\/p>\n

So, finally, we ask,\u00a0how has Fauci been able to survive all this<\/strong>\u00a0(politically, bureaucratically, and freedom-wise)?<\/p>\n
