She&#8217;s worked at Angelo&#8217;s for 30 years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">&#8220;It was just like a bathtub let the water out,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Just, it was gone.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The tide started to come back in around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, and it was coming in fast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Bourgeois has been through multiple hurricanes, including Hurricane Dennis in 2005. That storm destroyed Angelo&#8217;s, which was rebuilt in 2007. Allen Jr., AP\"><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"gnt_ar_b_h2\">Ian&#8217;s size becomes a big draw<\/h2>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The size of the hurricane and the extent of the wind field\u00a0is what caused the tides to recede so far up north and subsequently push a wall of water into the\u00a0southwest Florida coastline,\u00a0uprooting homes and flood neighborhoods.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">&#8220;The footage of the storm surge actually pushing through the streets in Fort\u00a0Myers and areas of southwest Florida was\u00a0really dramatic,&#8221;
