Oct 5, 2022\u00a0 A top-of-the-line Russian nuclear-powered submarine has gone missing from its harbor in the Arctic along with its doomsday weapon. NATO sent an intelligence note to its member countries warning of the mobilization of the Russian nuclear submarine Belgorod.

National security adviser Jake Sullivan and Secretary of State Antony Blinken responded to Putin\u2019s remarks by warning Russia of \u201ccatastrophic\u201d consequences if it were to deploy its nuclear arsenal.<\/p>\n

In a saber-rattling speech Friday at a ceremony announcing the annexation of four regions of Ukraine, Putin accused the US of creating a \u201cprecedent\u201d for using nuclear weapons when it bombed Japan during World War II.<\/p>\n

President Biden later issued a grave warning to Putin<\/b>, saying that the US and its NATO allies were \u201cfully prepared\u201d to \u201cdefend every single inch for NATO territory.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an interview on ABC\u2019s \u201cThis Week\u201d on Sunday, former CIA Director David Petraeus predicted that if Putin were to deploy nuclear weapons, the US and other NATO members would destroy Russia\u2019s forces and sink the Black Sea fleet.<\/u><\/span><\/b>
