{"id":138431,"date":"2022-10-10T15:21:34","date_gmt":"2022-10-10T19:21:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=138431"},"modified":"2022-10-10T15:21:34","modified_gmt":"2022-10-10T19:21:34","slug":"does-putin-really-think-he-can-negotiate-a-durable-peace-with-the-russophobic-khazarian-cabal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateofthenation.co\/?p=138431","title":{"rendered":"Does Putin really think he can negotiate a durable peace with the Russophobic Khazarian Cabal?!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong><em><!--more--><\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2><strong><em>OVERVIEW OF RUSSIAN STRIKES ON UKRAINE<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Paul Craig Roberts<\/p>\n<p>Fifteen cities plus smaller towns in Ukraine have had their infrastructure damaged in Russian strikes today.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The EU advisory mission in Kiev was also hit.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The best current account is on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sourhfront.org\/\">sourhfront.org<\/a>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/southfront.org\/russia-starts-to-fight-for-real-overview-of-strikes-in-ukraine\/\">https:\/\/southfront.org\/russia-starts-to-fight-for-real-overview-of-strikes-in-ukraine\/<\/a><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Southfront reports: \u201cRUSSIA STARTS TO FIGHT FOR-REAL,\u201d but more likely it is a wrist slap for Ukraine\u2019s attack on the Crimea bridge.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>If the Kremlin saw these strikes as part of the war, the strikes would continue and intensify until Ukraine was begging on its knees to surrender. As of this time, there is no indication that the Kremlin intends to do what it needs to do and bring the conflict to an end before it widens into all out conflict with the West.<\/p>\n<p>Russian on-the-ground military intervention was probably never necessary to halt Ukraine\u2019s attack on Donbass.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The Kremlin could have just knocked out the civilian and military infrastructure of Western Ukraine and continued repeating the attacks day after day until Ukraine complied or was destroyed.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The conflict might have lasted a week without a single Russian casualty.<\/p>\n<p>But the Kremlin chose a Goody Two Shoes role\u2013small commitment of ground forces to the Russian parts of eastern Ukraine long suffering from Ukrainian artillery strikes on civilians and neo-Nazi torture of the Russian population, about which there has been no complaint in the Western whore media.\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It was obvious from the beginning that this was a strategic blunder whose slow-moving progress would give Washington time to widen the war and back Ukraine with money, weapons, training, intelligence and targeting information.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>With the Kremlin determined to confine and limit the conflict to the Russian regions of Ukraine, the Russian military was prevented from interfering with Ukraine\u2019s ability to conduct war.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>No strikes were made on government and military communication and infrastructure in Kiev, allowing Ukraine to engage in the conflict while remaining untouched, a huge self-inflicted disadvantage on the Russian forces.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Apparently, this mindless military policy was to show that Russia was rescuing Donbass, not conquering Ukraine.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>In other words, the Kremlin let Western opinion constrain its military operation.<\/p>\n<p>This, of course, is why Ukraine has refused to negotiate with Putin.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>There is no incentive for Ukraine to negotiate.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Putin has confined the war to the Russian areas, leaving Ukraine untouched.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Only Russian civilians are being killed and their cities and towns destroyed, while Ukraine goes its merry way as if a war doesn\u2019t exist.<\/p>\n<p>The Russian policy toward Ukraine has made no sense since 2014 when the Kremlin accepted the creation by Washington of a hostile neo-Nazi government on Russia\u2019s border.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>If today\u2019s strikes are only a wrist slap, they will turn out to be counterproductive.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The strikes will fuel more Western propaganda, making it easier for Washington to further expand the conflict and create more determination on the part of Ukraine.\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A Turkish government official reports that what Putin really wants is not a victory in Ukraine but \u201ca new grand bargain, a new deal, with the West.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Putin\u2019s aim, he says, is to renegotiate the balance of power between Moscow and Washington.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/russia\/564300-putin-west-deal-turkiye\/\">https:\/\/www.rt.com\/russia\/564300-putin-west-deal-turkiye\/<\/a><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If so, this is a Kremlin pipe dream.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Washington is committed to Russia\u2019s destruction, and the Kremlin continues to play into Washington\u2019s hands.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>If the Kremlin is incapable of facing the fact that the West has declared war on Russia and intends to destroy Russia, the conflict will continue to spiral out of control.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>What is needed is a quick decisive Russian victory that ends the conflict and shows Washington\u2019s European puppet states what the war on Russia will mean for them.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Only this can stop the war that is unfolding.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Negotiations are totally impotent, as surely the Kremlin has learned by now.<\/p>\n<p>For three decades not one single negotiation with the West has served Russia\u2019s interests.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Why continue a totally failed approach?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>A government that replies to threats with requests for negotiations creates an imagine of itself as a government unwilling to fight, an image that encourages more provocations until, finally, its back is to the wall.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>This is how the Russian government\u2019s reasonableness is encouraging Washington to continue pushing until Armageddon is reached.\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>___<br \/>\n<a
