“Solzhenitsyn claims that Jews promoted alcoholism among the peasantry, flooded the retail trade with contraband, and “strangled” the Russian merchant class in Moscow.[21]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0He says that according to Solzhenitsyn, Jews are non-producing people (“\u043d\u0435\u043f\u0440\u043e\u0438\u0437\u0432\u043e\u0434\u0438\u0442\u0435\u043b\u044c\u043d\u044b\u0439 \u043d\u0430\u0440\u043e\u0434”)[22]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0and refuse to engage in factory labor.[23]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0They are averse to agriculture and unwilling to till the land either in Russia, in Argentina, or in Palestine,[24]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0and the author blames the Jews’ own behavior for pogroms.[25]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0He says that Solzhenitsyn also claims that Jews used\u00a0Kabbalah<\/a>\u00a0to tempt Russians into heresy,[26]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0seduced Russians with rationalism and fashion,[27]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0provoked sectarianism and weakened the financial system,[28]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0committed murders on the orders of\u00a0qahal<\/a>\u00a0authorities,[29]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0and exerted undue influence on the prerevolutionary government.[30]<\/a><\/sup><\/strong>“<\/h3>\n
