Hannity calls out FBI chief Wray after Susan Rice email declassified: ‘Will you ever hold anyone accountable?’<\/h1>\n

Sean Hannity<\/a>\u00a0called on FBI Director Chris Wray\u00a0to “get to the bottom” of the\u00a0Michael Flynn\u00a0<\/a>case Tuesday after a\u00a0newly declassified email<\/a> by Susan Rice showed Wray’s\u00a0predecessor, James Comey, suggested in January 2017 that President Barack Obama\u00a0keep Flynn\u00a0out of the loop on matters pertaining to Russia.<\/p>\n

“Director Wray,\u00a0are you comfortable with any of\u00a0this?” Hannity asked. “Are you?\u00a0Will you ever hold anyone\u00a0accountable?\u00a0Do you, Director Wray, care about\u00a0what is an\u00a0abuse of power and corruption\u00a0that took place at the world’s\u00a0premier law enforcement agency,\u00a0the one at\u00a0which you are now\u00a0the director?<\/p>\n

HANNITY CHALLENGES FBI DIRECTOR WRAY OVER FLYNN CASE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

“In other words, Director Wray,” Hannity\u00a0went on,\u00a0“are you going to do anything to\u00a0restore the reputation of this, the\u00a0world’s premier\u00a0law enforcement institution, or\u00a0are you going to sweep it under\u00a0the rug, be an\u00a0institutionalist, be afraid to\u00a0rock the boat, and maybe even want to protect your friends and you don’t want to go there?”<\/p>\n

Hannity urged Wray to investigate and hold those who mishandled the Russia investigation accountable “for the sake of the 99 percent of\u00a0great agents.”<\/p>\n

“Maybe you should do the right\u00a0thing for the country, for the rule\u00a0of law, for the Justice Department,\u00a0for\u00a0the FBI and get to the bottom of\u00a0it,” he said.\u00a0“And if\u00a0you’re not up to the job,\u00a0maybe you should tell\u00a0President Trump, ‘I’m just not up to this job, I don’t want to do the heavy lifting here.’<\/p>\n

“And maybe,” the host concluded, “we can make General Flynn the new director of the FBI.”<\/p>\n
