Drago Bosnic<\/a>, independent geopolitical and military analyst<\/p>\n The United States is the only country in history to have used\u00a0all three types of weapons of mass destruction (nuclear, biological, chemical)<\/a>, starting with the atomic bombings of Japan in the closing months of the Second World War to mass usage of chemical and biological weapons against\u00a0numerous other countries it has attacked ever since<\/a>\u00a0(particularly Vietnam). And yet, the belligerent thalassocracy just adores chest-thumping about its supposed \u201cmorality\u201d and even \u201cwarns\u201d that its geopolitical adversaries are about to use such weapons (naturally, without ever providing any evidence). This is precisely what\u2019s been happening in Ukraine in recent weeks.<\/p>\n On April 28, one of the most prominent neoliberal mouthpieces,\u00a0the New York Times, ran a story<\/a>\u00a0about America setting up numerous radiation sensors across Ukraine in order to detect nuclear blasts. The NYT claims that \u201csuch sensors can detect\u200c\u200c bursts of radiation from a nuclear weapon or a dirty bomb and can confirm the identity of the attacker\u201d. It adds that \u201cthe goal is to make sure that if Russia detonates a radioactive weapon on Ukrainian soil, its atomic signature and Moscow\u2019s culpability could be verified\u201d, further claiming that \u201c\u2026experts have worried about whether President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia\u00a0would use nuclear arms in combat<\/a>\u00a0for the first time since the American bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945\u2033.<\/p>\n Firstly, it should be noted that Russia has a very clear doctrine about the usage of WMDs in an armed conflict,\u00a0one that has even been updated recently<\/a>\u00a0and that states in what sort of situations Moscow would use such weapons. The Ukrainian conflict is still nowhere near a point where Russian WMDs could be used. Secondly,\u00a0the Russian military dominates the battlefield<\/a>, inflicting\u00a0enormous losses on the Kiev regime forces<\/a>. Even in the case of the much-touted offensive against newly integrated Russian regions in the Donbass and former southern Ukraine, Russia wouldn\u2019t use nuclear weapons. However, the NYT claims precisely that is the case, supposedly because Russia is \u201cdesperate\u201d to stop the attack.<\/p>\n Expectedly, \u201cexperts\u201d the NYT allegedly spoke to are anonymous and they claim that the goal is to \u201cprevent Russia from conducting a possible dirty bomb false flag in Ukraine\u201d. The operation is officially run by the\u00a0Nuclear Emergency Support Team (NEST)<\/a>, part of the\u00a0Nation Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)<\/a>. Interestingly, the NYT notes,\u00a0citing a 2009 book \u201cDefusing Armageddon\u201d by Jeffrey T. Richelson<\/a>, that \u201cthe NEST often teamed up with the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), an elite military unit so secretive that the Pentagon for years\u00a0refused<\/a> to acknowledge its existence\u201d. It should be noted that JSOC is being used to conduct covert operations of all kinds across the world, including false flags.<\/p>\n So, according to these so-called \u201cexperts\u201d, we are supposed to believe that US agencies and military units involved in actual false flag operations around the globe will prevent an alleged \u201cRussian false flag\u201d and not use the opportunity to conduct yet another covert op to fake such an event and then blame Russia for it? The NYT itself claims that \u201cMoscow could falsely claim that Kyiv set off a nuclear blast on the battlefield to try to draw the West into deeper war assistance\u201d and that \u201c\u2026in theory, with the sensor network in place, Washington would be able to point to its own nuclear attribution analyses to reveal that Moscow was in fact the attacker\u201d.<\/p>\n The NYT then parrots the usual about Russia\u2019s supposed \u201cbattlefield failures\u201d that are \u201cmaking Mr. Putin, if anything, more dependent on his nuclear arsenal\u201d and how this \u201ccould increase his willingness to pull the nuclear trigger\u201d. Even though such claims are laughable to anyone familiar with\u00a0the actual situation on the battlefield<\/a>, in the minds of rabid Russophobes this makes \u201cperfect sense\u201d. In addition, recent weeks have seen a dramatic surge in Kiev regime\u2019s attacks on civilians not only in the Donbass and other newly integrated Russian regions, but also in\u00a0areas such as Bryansk and Belgorod oblasts (regions)<\/a>, with dozens of civilian casualties.<\/p>\n All this would be used to push the narrative that Russia could indeed be the alleged culprit behind a dirty bomb false flag. On the other hand, back in October last year,\u00a0when Moscow warned that the Kiev regime might use a dirty bomb and then blame Russia for it<\/a>, the political West rejected it all as a \u201cconspiracy theory\u201d. According to their \u201clogic\u201d, it\u2019s only Russia that could do such a thing, because the Neo-Nazi junta, as a \u201ctrue beacon of freedom and democracy\u201d, certainly has the \u201cmoral high ground\u201d. Additionally, the mainstream propaganda machine usually claims that the Kiev regime doesn\u2019t have the capacity to create dirty bombs, so it allegedly couldn\u2019t do it even if it wanted to.<\/p>\n However, recent reports about\u00a0\u201csensitive US nuclear technologies\u201d in (former) Ukrainian nuclear power plants (NPPs)<\/a>\u00a0show such claims are patently false. Russia controls one of such NPPs, but still hasn\u2019t disclosed what sort of covert US support the Neo-Nazi junta got. Washington DC itself has \u201cdemanded\u201d Moscow to return these \u201csensitive US nuclear technologies\u201d, meaning they are worried about what might be revealed to the world. It\u2019s not unlikely Russia is keeping the evidence secret for the time being as a possible deterrent to US and Kiev regime\u2019s plan on detonating such a device and then blaming Moscow, which could simply reveal the evidence in case a dirty bomb is used.<\/p>\n Source:\u00a0InfoBrics<\/a><\/p>\n
