Is this why the perps sent the message?!<\/b><\/h3>"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Twenty eight Republican Senators voted to obliterate the US Constitution in favor of Article 5 of the NATO Agreement<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><!--more-->By Anonymous<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">On July 19, two days before his Senate Office in Kentucky was firebombed, <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/international\/3587018-senate-defeats-rand-paul-amendment-to-nato-resolution-clarifying-war-powers\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Sen. Rand Paul<\/span><\/a> offered an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.govtrack.us\/congress\/votes\/118-2023\/s191\"><span class=\"s2\">amendment<\/span><\/a> to the 2024 NDAA (S 2226).<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>It was the legislative intention of the Senate to clarify that \u201c<\/span><span class=\"s3\"><i>Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty does not supersede the constitutional requirement that Congress declare war before the United States engages in war<\/i>.\u201d <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Article 5 is a key pillar of the 1949 North Atlantic Treaty and is based on the principle of collective defense. It means that an attack on one member of NATO is deemed to be an attack on all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">The Senate vote was 83 \u2013 16 against the amendment with <b>all Democrats<\/b> voting &#8220;No&#8221; and <b>twenty-eight Republicans<\/b> joining the Democrats to vote in favor of NATO and against the U.S. Constitution.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Each one of those Senators need to resign immediately.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>They have disgraced their office and are no longer qualified to service honorably.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>They do not take their oath of office seriously as they have destabilized and weakened the authority of the US Constitution, the most essential of America&#8217;s Founding Documents.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">In other words, the US Senate not only failed to confirm their support for the US Constitution; they in fact voted to desecrate the Constitution. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Those twenty eight Republican Senators are Sens.
