Israel Orders ‘Complete Siege’ Of Gaza “Barbarians” As Death Toll Tops 1,100<\/h1>\n

The total death toll among both sides as all-out war between Israel and Gaza militants enters its third day has topped 1,100 – with most of these deaths being Israeli, at an\u00a0estimated 800<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Israel’s defense minister has as of Monday ordered a\u00a0“complete siege”<\/strong>\u00a0of Gaza which alarmingly includes\u00a0cutting off all supply of electricity, fuel, and food, but even water<\/strong>\u00a0for a densely packed population of 3+ million people in the strip.<\/p>\n

Yoav Gallant said, “I have given an order \u2013 Gaza will be under complete siege.” He added:\u00a0“We are fighting barbarians\u00a0<\/strong>and will respond accordingly.”<\/p>\n

At the same time a statement from energy minister Israel Katz confirmed,\u00a0“I instructed that the water supply from Israel to Gaza be cut off immediately.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reportedly retaken all the southern towns and settlements which were hit hardest by Saturday’s shock invasion of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) militants from Gaza.<\/p>\n

A fuller picture of the devastation is still emerging. Israeli authorities have\u00a0confirmed recovery of 260 bodies<\/strong>\u00a0from the site of the desert music festival which was among the first to be invaded by Hamas gunmen…<\/p>\n
